After welcoming young dragon, Gabe Gorman, to the squad late last year, we're starting 2024 off with a bang by announcing that South Wales turbo lej, Jack Branch, also now skates for CSC! It seems like 2024 really is the Year of the Dragon. Jack has been killing it for years and since he moved to Cardiff last year it made sense for him to claim his rightful place among the CSC's Dragons. Safe to say we're looking forward to getting out and filming/shooting photos with him more!

If you don't know Jack (you would have definitely seen him laying down hammers at Spit and Sawdust and Ashmore (RIP) or at one of our Plaza Comps over the years), he's been holding it down for the Bridgend scene for years, both in front of and behind the lens. Back in 2022, Jack had an absolute belter of a year with bangin' parts in Rhys Tweek's 'Street Code Video' and 'The Papa Mio's Video', as well as filming his own 20-minute banger, 'Enjoying Bridgend', showcasing a load of the local spots and homies, earning himself the coveted CSC SOTY trophy with a landslide victory.

Of course, to announce Jack's debut on the CSC Team we linked up with the fellas over at The Skateboarder's Companion for another one of our double-page ads. For the ad itself, Jack headed down the Bay and stomped one of his signature switch flips over a bench for the watchful lens of The Gaffer himself, Mike Ridout, which we then sent over to design mastermind, Nat Jones, to work his magic. As always, Nat delivered the goods and managed to capture Jack's The Dude-esque vibes with a trippy dragon's tea party.

In order to properly celebrate Jack's apotheosis into a fully-fledged CSC Shop Dragon, we've taken the artwork from his new welcome ad in The Skateboarder's Companion and transformed it into the new 'Shrooms' clothing collection so you can show your respect to the former CSC SOTY. The new 'Shrooms' T-shirts and hoods are available in a range of our favourite colourways, including Black, Cobalt and Sand for the tees and Melange Grey and Navy for the hoods, so we've got you covered no matter what you're into.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of CSC clothing, hardware and accessories and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
