The Week Today, Now - 23/06/2025

Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Atlantic Drift in Kazakhstan, Go Skate Day 2025 and a look back at Ricky Oyola's legendary EE3 part.

Big shoutout to everyone who came down to our Go Skate Day jam at Bute on Sunday! It's always a pleasure seeing Bute so busy, especially given its uncertain future, and it ended up being a belter of a day despite the dubious forecast - and of course we've got to say a special thank you to grill master Oscar for killin' it on the coals. Keep your eyes peeled for the edit!

One for the history nerds: Theories of Atlantis have treated us to a new instalment of 'Inside The Skater's Studio', this time sitting down with Paul Zitzer and Ricky Oyola as they talk us through Ricky's groundbreaking 'Eastern Exposure 3' part, laying down some premium behind-the-scenes lore and discussing how the part's influence is still felt today. This one's a must-watch!

Wake up babe, new Atlantic Drift just dropped! Experience the world through the lens of Jake Harris as the squad sets off on one of their wildest adventures to date, making their way around the pristine granite plazas, cutty back-street gems and rugged wilderness of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Whole lotta newer-gen talent on display in Brandon Cortez's 'Small Bounty' video, featuring the likes of Jake Cortez, Cruise Mosberg, Dylan Jaeb, Cyprus Blanco, Gavin Bottger and more as they unleash their immaculate styles on a load of California's lesser-seen spots.

Rowan White has treated us to a new edit celebrating the iconic Woolstores ledges in Fremantle, Western Australia as Matt Archer, Shaun Paul, Sylvain Tognelli, Jeremy Corea and a load of other legends lay down ledge bangers to a truly epic John Williams soundtrack.

Hefty dose of Euro trend in the latest offering from Pop Trading Co as they treat us to their 43rd 'Pop Clip' edit, this time showcasing Max de Wit, Emile de Vos, Billy Hoogendijk and more of the Netherlands' finest doing their thing in Rotterdam.

'Fire In Da Sky' is a short-but-sweet new Emerica edit, put together by Matt King, showcasing the talents of triple OGs, Spanky, Figgy and Leo Romero, alongside newer recruit, Stu Kirst, as they lay down a load of no-nonsense hammers.

Hoddle videos are always a treat, especially when Majick Templeton's behind the lens, and their latest offering is no exception as they welcome Gary Almeida to the squad with two minutes of stylish, velour-clad manoeuvres.

The man behind the legendary 'Timescan' videos, Rob Taro, has traded places in the new Hilandar Tokyo video, working his magic in front of the lens, rather than behind it, as he crushes everything in his path, from hectic banks to high-tech mannies.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
