Product Spotlight - There Skateboards Spring '22
Hot off the release of their first full-length, There Skateboards' spring collection has just landed in store.
After they released their first full-length - the sarcastically-named, 'Ruining Skateboarding' - and seeing as they're now being distributed by the legends over at DLX/Shiner, we couldn't resist getting in the latest range from one of the most groundbreaking brands in the game right now. Skateboarding's all about inclusivity and nobody represents that better than There, so show some love for the people doing the most for some of skating's most under-represented communities.
People's champ, hype-inducer, and all-round legend, Marbie, has a bangin' new pro model that's perfect for fans of subtly-shaped boards. With a classic popsicle tail and a squared-off shovel nose, this deck is ideal for anyone who likes to mix it up from the traditional popsicle, and that square nose is guaranteed to provide optimal flick. The deck features the 'Dancing With Myself' artwork from Marbie herself, with her unique artstyle centred around the representation of the human form through bold colours and abstract shapes that's guaranteed to turn heads.
Another banger of a graphic, James Pitonyak's pro model features artwork from legendary skate-artist, Jeffrey Cheung. With his iconic style of line drawing that's very #OnTrend, this simple-but-effective graphic is one of our favourites from the collection. Plus Cheung's artwork usually sells for at least a couple grand so for the very reasonable price of £70 there's no better way to nab some bangin' artwork on the cheap.
Last but not least, There's latest pro, Kien Caples', new pro model is brightening up our shelves after they got the pro nod at the premiere of 'Ruining Skateboarding'. With a vibrant pink graphic featuring Kien reimagined as some sort of elvish butterfly, this is without a doubt one of the gnarliest we've ever had in the shop. Definitely not one for the faint-hearted. Plus, if you needed any more convincing, all the decks come with a free poster featuring artwork by the legend, Jeff Cheung, because who doesn't love a poster?
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of There skateboard decks and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
