South London's Service Works was born from a very simple observation: chef trousers are sick. Founder Tom Chudley grew up working in his family's hospitality business, started skating in his chef pants and thought — hang on, why aren't more people wearing these?

The answer, it turns out, was fabric. Swap out the flimsy kitchen stuff for heavy organic cotton, get the perfect fit bump up the stitch count and throw in an elasticated waist and suddenly you've got skate trousers you can cook in! That's Service Works in a nutshell: workwear designed for chefs, adopted by skaters, and worn by anyone with the taste to recognise a good pair of trousers when they see them.
