Born out of Queensbridge, New York in the year 1990, Mobb Deep consists of Prodigy and Havoc, who first met while they were both studying at the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan. While their debut album 'Juvenile Hell' dropped in 1993, it wasn't until they released their second album, 'The Infamous', that they got their first taste of real success with the record quickly launching them to the forefront of the East Coast scene. Best known for all-time bangers like 'Shook Ones Pt. 2' and 'Survival of the Fittest', their music drew upon Havoc's life growing up in the notorious Queensbridge Houses project with their unique lyrical style and gritty depiction of street life establishing them as one of the most influential names in East Coast hip hop.

Paying tribute to this legendary duo with their new Mobb Deep book, Living Proof have teamed up with Dark Brother Rise, a member of the Mobb Deep/Queensbridge crew and close friend of the duo, to offer up a load of never-before-seen photographs from their early days. After being kept hidden in Rise's Queensbridge apartment for the last 30 years, of course it was Living Proof who've helped them see the light of day by compiling them in this premium full-colour, soft-cover book complete with a brief introduction from Rise. Showcasing behind-the-scenes photos of Prodigy and Havoc alongside their crew, the '41st Side Mobb Deep' Book offers up an intimate look at the duo as they carved a name for themselves out of the streets of New York.
