Product Spotlight - New Balance Q1 2022 (Part 2)
The second instalment of New Balance's latest collection has just landed in store with a range of premium vulcanised skate shoes to satisfy all your boardfeel needs.

Following on from the first half of the drop from a couple of weeks back, the second portion of New Balance's first collection of 2022 has arrived in store with some bangin' new colourways in your favourite vulc models like the 212, 272, and NM22. If you're looking for that premium boardfeel and flick you expect from a vulcanised skate shoe, then you're in luck.

First off, the classic 212 shape is back in a low-top silhouette with a stylish black and white colourway and a nice little gum accent on the toe. The upper features a canvas construction for a lightweight feel and premium breathability, along with a suede toe cap and ollie patch to provide added durability and flick where it's needed most.

One of New Balance's newest additions to their impeccable lineup, the 272, also makes a return with two bangin' new colourways: a vibrant green and white, and a subtle sea salt and blue with a gum sole for those summery vibes. The upper features a mixture of mesh, suede, and ripstop, combining the reliable durability of suede with the breathability of mesh for added breathability, while the one piece suede toe box minimises the number of exposed seams that could potentially tear. In addition, the removable ortholite insole works hand-in-hand with New Balance's new and improved vulcanised outsole to provide maximum comfort and support without reducing the boardfeel that you expect from a vulc.

Last but not least, the New Balance NM22 makes a return with one of my favourite colourways from New Balance to date. With a white sole - embellished with a touch of green - and sleek white leather upper for style and durability, this bad boy is serving serious Stan Smith vibes and the addition of the perforated N means there's minimal branding so you won't be looking like a walking advert. The shoe features a T-toe construction, kinda like the Nike SB Bruin, with inverted seams to help protect from ripping and maximise durability, while the NDurance outsole helps provide ultimate grip and reduce wear on the sole. This is easily one of New Balance's best-looking shoes.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of New Balance Numeric shoes and buy now from CSC, or learn more about the latest skate products in more of our Product Spotlights. Safe.
