Utilising their knowledge of ultra-advanced, scientifically-backed shoe technologies from their running shoes, New Balance Numeric produce super-high-quality shoes which feature the latest technology to keep your feet safe and comfortable while you're out skating.
Whether you're looking for some ultra-thin vulcs for that premium boardfeel or some big chunky cupsoles for ultimate cushioning, New Balance's extensive range packs something for everyone.
Some of the most popular models include Jamie Foy's signature pro shoe, the 306, which is suited to all manner of street skating with its vulcanised construction and Abzorb insole for extra cushioning; and the Tiago Lemos 1010 which offers ultimate comfort and protection thanks to the FuelCell midsole, Fantom Fit heel stabilisers, molded Ortholite insole and countless other high-tech features.
New Balance Cupsoles
This solidly built classic by New Balance is one of their best-selling shoes: the 440. The weapon of choice for loads of the CSC team, the 440 offers the ultimate blend of style and performance. The cupsole construction helps provide comfort and support to allow you to keep skating for longer. It also means they make perfect chillers. The reinforced suede toe-cap provides additional protection in high-wear areas to help prevent blowouts.
Meanwhile, the N-Durance rubber outsole ensures maximum grip and outsole durability. To top it off, the 440's upper features a mix of suede and mesh to provide added breathability to keep your feet feeling as fresh as they look. The 440 is back with two different colourways this time: a clean and simple Black / White; and a fresh Grey / White. Perfect for any occasion.
Another favourite, the Tiago Lemos 1010 not only looks absolutely bangin', but also packs the most tech of any of New Balance's offerings. With the multi-density outsole working alongside the FuelCell midsole, the 1010 boasts the ultimate grip and cushioning of almost any shoe on the market. .
The Ortholite insole boosts the impact support even further which makes the 1010 perfect for handling any drop you can throw yourself down, as well as meaning they're perfect as chillers.
What's more, the Fantom Fit heel stabiliser helps lock your feet in to help prevent ankle rolls. And to top it off, the suede and mesh upper with a reinforced suede toe box provides the ultimate blend of durability and breathability. What more could you want?
New Balance Vulcs
The Jamie Foy 306 is by far one of New Balance's most popular vulc shoes, and for good reason. The vulcanisaed construction offers all the grip and boardfeel you expect, with the added bonus of the Abzorb insole to maximise impact support and comfort.
The suede upper is backed by a rubber underlay which provides maximum durability even once the suede has worn through. Last but not least, the gusseted tongue provides the snuggest fit possible. It also helps keep the tongue straight because nobody likes a wonky tongue.
