Lovenskate drops are always a treat and their latest collection is one of their best ever with bangin' new pro models for Alex Hallford, Jordan Thackeray and Lucy Adams. As always, all the decks are hand-screened in the UK by the lovely Lovenskate lads for a top-quality, bespoke finish. With everything from old-school comic book-style graphics to unique, multi-layered artwork, the drops got a little something for everyone no matter what you're into.
First up, we've got a brand new pro model for everyone's favourite transition magician, Jordan Thackeray, with his new 'Does It Bring You Joy?' deck. The new Lovenskate Jordan Pro Deck features a bangin' multi-layered graphic with original artwork from Lovenskate bossman, Stu Smith, comprising of images he dug up related to money, happiness, fame and fortune, overlaid with a translucent 'Does It Bring You Joy?' print. To make things even more exciting each board is totally unique with a wide variety of different colour and woodstain combinations.
If you're a fan of comic books and superheroes then the new Lovenskate 'Alex Pro' Deck is the one for you with its Silver Surfer-inspired 'Vantastic Voyage' artwork. This hand-screened skateboard deck features vivid, comic book-style artwork by skater and artist, James Callahan (AKA @barfcomics), with a reimagining of Marvel's iconic Silver Surfer riding atop Alex Hallford's van, complete with Alex's signature sleeveless drug rug.
Alongside Alex and J-Thaxx, we've also got the new pro model for UK legend, Lucy Adams. The latest Lovenskate Lucy Pro Deck continues her tradition of camo and animal-based designs with the new 'Master of Camouflage' deck. Featuring artwork by illustrator and comic artist, Lizzie Heath, the 'Master of Camouflage' graphic features an image of a gecko (or similar tree-dwelling reptile) blending into a digital camo background.
Last but not least, we've got the 'Usual Suspects' deck with its tea-themed graphic, because it wouldn't be a Lovenskate drop without at least one reference to Britain's most beloved caffeinated beverage. The Lovenskate 'The Usual Suspects' Deck features artwork by Swedish artist and head honcho of CHPO Brand, Viktor Telégin, which pays tribute to the iconic lineup cover photo from the film, 'The Usual Suspects', with a tea bag, kettle and carton of milk replacing Kevin Spacey and the boys. As with all the others the Lovenskate 'Usual Suspects' deck was hand-screened in the UK on premium quality wood for a luxurious finish, but because this isn't a pro model it's a couple of quid cheaper which is always nice.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest Lovenskate decks from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
