CSC Real Street Easter Edit Comp 2024 - EXTENDED!
What better way to enjoy the Easter holidays... stressing at tricks and pulling your hair out at editing
We're doing it again, The CSC Real Street Easter Edit comp is back! Time to get that dust off your camera's lens and hit the streets and stack the clips
If you remember our Go Skate Day competition from 2020 then the premise is basically the same: grab ya mates, grab ya camera (smartphones count don't worry), grab ya board and go get some clips. Skatepark footage is permissible but obviously street clips are gonna count for more, and of course any NBDs or next-level spot hunting (or building) are gonna go a long way. Be sure to check out the Go Skate Day 2020 winning edits, as well as last years Real Street Easter Edit 2023 winning edits if you want some inspiration.
We'll be judging based on the skating, editing, and overall enjoyment of the edits so don't go kill yourself throwing yourself down a 20-stair just for the sake of it (we don't want any lawsuits from grieving parents or partners). Funny edits and creativity are very much appreciated but obviously we still wanna see some hammers! We're also open to bribes so feel free to drop off some Greggs pastries, chocolate biscuits or cans of lager to the shop to improve your chances.
You have until Monday 15th April to get your edits in which gives you just under two weeks to film and edit them. To submit your edit, drop us an email at cardiffskateboardclub@gmail.com and we'll help you sort something out but just make sure you don't post your clips online before! Once we're done judging we'll post them all up on our YouTube channel for the world to enjoy.
Winners will be announced on Friday 19tH via Instagram so keep your eyes peeled. There will of course be prizes as well as eternal glory for the winners so don't hold back. Get creative, get weird and get them clips!
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skateboard decks, clothing, shoes and more, and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest Cardiff skateboard events on the CSC Blog. Safe.
