Collection: Polar Surf Pants

More interested in comfort over fit? Polar's Surf Pants are about as close as you can get to wearing pyjamas without getting funny looks on the street thanks to their loose tapered fit, thin cotton construction and elasticated, drawstring waistband.

We've put together guides to the fit and style of Polar trousers so you can find the right ones for you. whether it's the ultra-baggy Big Boy Jeans the loose and floaty Polar Surf pants, the new Polar Railway Chinos style, or the timeless straight-leg Polar '93 Pants. We've even included top down views of each style so you can see how they look when you're wearing them, because we all know that's the most important part.

Polar Surf Pants Fit

Polar Surf Pants Fit Guide - CSC, Cardiff Skateboard Club - UK Skate Store

Polar Surf Pants feature a relaxed parachute fit that's nice and baggy around the thigh before tapering through the calf and ankle, so they generally look best when you size them correctly so they just about rest on your shoes. However, if you do want to oversize them then the elasticated waistband makes this easy to do and you can always cut the bottoms to get the length right.

Polar Surf Pants Sizing

Like the Big Boys, Polar Surf Pants use arbitrary size groups, although the elasticated waistband means these sizes can be pretty flexible. As such, we'd recommend sizing based on leg length rather than waist size - and luckily they offer tall versions to make things easier if you're tall and thin. The model in the picture is 6'1 (185cm) with a 30" waist and is wearing a size Medium.
