Video Daze - Last Resort Alv's Angels

We've been waiting a long time for a video from the finest skater-owned shoe company in the game and Alv's Angels did not disappoint, lemmetellew. The video features clips from the whole Last Resort team including Dane Brady, Nick Rios, Chris 'Mango' Milic, David Stenstrom (who apparently is now rocking a backwards New Era cap in the style of Fred Durst?), and more, so you already know it's gonna bang.

Really enjoyed getting a substantial portion of Nick Rios and Jesse Alba footage, who both come through with really enjoyable parts that are guaranteed to get you hyped. Plus, we get some Dane Brady footage which would be worth its weight in gold, if clips could have a physical weight. Mango's last part was a particular highlight too, packed with all the hectic manual combos and general weirdness you expect from the captain of Frog.

The video as a whole has an extremely strong presence of curb tricks, which is not only a refreshing change from the usual spots but it also makes the video way more relatable for the average skater. I'm definitely pretty desensitised to skate videos at this point, but this is one of the few videos in recent times that has really got me hyped to skate. Definitely made me want to buy some Last Resort shoes too.

But the star of the show was obviously CSC's very own Billy Trick. It's so sick seeing Billy crushing it alongside some of our favourite skaters and of course he brought the hammers with a load of absolutely mind-bending stunts that only Billy could pull off. Just a shame we didn't get to see more of his peg. Sort it out Pontus.
