The Week Today, Now - 28/09/2026

Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Alexis Lacroix PRO AF, Cover Notes from Brighton and a double dose of Greek trips.

The Volcom crew are back with another leg of their 'Road Tested' tour, this time taking the van for a two-week spin around Greece as Simon Bannerot, Omar Hassan, Harry Lintell, Eniz Fazliov, Thanos Panou and more engage in some four-wheeled sightseeing around some of the finest infrastructure the Hellenic Republic has to offer.

Continuing with the Greek theme, we've also had a new GX1000 edit as Willow Voges Fernandes, Taihou Tokura, Sean Greene, Eddie Cernicky and the rest of the gang make the odyssey over to your mum's favourite holiday destination where they swerve the all-inclusives hotels and beaches in favour of granite plazas and cobbled hill bombs.

After Venue's full-length last week, we've been treated to another banger of a shop video this week as Boston's Orchard skateshop come through with 'Wishbone', a quality 30-minute offering filmed around New England with trips to the East Coast, Midwest and LA with full parts from their star-studded team, including Connor Noll, Sean Evans, Eddie Vargas Jr., Brianna Delaney and many more.

One for the history aficionados: join Al Hodgson and various other South Coast heads as he talks us through the history behind a load of famous covers shot in Brighton over the years in Vague's new 'Cover Notes' video, ranging from an extremely 80s-coded boneless at the OG Level park for Skateboard! Mag all the way up to Evan Johnson's cover for Vague Issue 49. 

Whole lot of eccentricity on display from Alexis Lacroix as he celebrates joining Element's pro ranks with a ludicrous new part, coming through with snowy rail hits, barefoot flute-wielding hillbombs and plenty of other unorthodox manoeuvres that you won't be seeing from anyone else any time soon. The man's truly one of one.

The soundtrack may undergo a severe vibe switch-up halfway through but Jonny Palmer's skating remains consistently excellent throughout his new 'Ease Up' part as he comes through with a load of no-nonsense hammers and well thought-out spot and trick combinations.

More qualtity Willow Voges Fernandes content, join him as he heads back to the motherland, linking up with some of his Bug homies - Finn Nietz, Carolina Gamboa and Theophilus Loffler - to run riot in the streets of Hamburg for Moritz Ueberall's new Carhartt-backed offering: 'HCM'.

Girl Skateboards have teamed up with the imaginatively-named Dutch shop, Skatestore, for a run of We OG decks so of course they've put together a new edit to celebrate as Justin Wagener, Jan-Willem Den Haan, Woody Hoogendijk and more of the locals hit up some of The Hague's finest spots.
