The Week Today, Now - 05/10/2026
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Ryuhei Kitazume's magnum opus, New Balance Numeric in Seattle and Thrasher's Death Match 2026.

Coming in hot with an early contender for video of the year (if not the decade), Ryuhei Kitazume offers up a loveletter to ledge skating in his new Tightbooth part, travelling all over the world in the name of grinding and sliding while Shinpei Ueno makes sure that the cinematography is up to the same mind-boggling standard as the skating. We also highly recommend checking out his interview with Jono Coote over on Vague to find out more about how growing up in Japan shaped his skating!
Another visual masterpiece out of Japan, the new 'Brain Control' full-length from Number:A Skateboards mainlines just under 40 minutes of the finest technical wizardry directly into your cranium as the likes of Kaede Terauchi, Kotaro Kawai, Ryo Sagawa and many more bring that Far Eastern flavour alongside a delightfully eclectic soundtrack.
Whole lotta heavy revs on display in Antihero's new 'Heavy Maka Parking Lot 2' video as the 18 gang knock together a hectic schoolbus set-up in an unsuspecting carpark with Daan Van Der Linden, Simon Bannerot, Grant Taylor, Tony Trujillo and more of your faves taking care of business in honour of 40 years of Atlanta's Stratosphere skate shop.

Vicariously spend a couple days in Seattle with the New Balance Numeric squad in the latest episode of 'Thrasher Weekend' as Aimu Yamazuki, Jamie Foy, Franky Villani, Tiago Lemos, Spencer Hamilton, Brandon Westgate and the rest of their legendary lineup hit up a wealth of Northwest spots.
Tommy May unleashes all manner of lesser-seen tekkers on the streets of Nottingham in his new 'Notts' part, weaving together quick-footed lines up and down the city centre consisting of everything from inward heel tailslides to wallie tree-sixties (patent pending). This one'll keep you on your toes!
Enjoy a large dose of hellriding courtesy of Thrasher's Death Match 2026 as they recreate Jake Phelps and Max Schaaf's iconic widowmaker ramp in the middle of the desert where the likes of GT, Pedro Barros, Bob Burnquist, Roman Pabich and countless others battle it out for the prestigious trophy.

Dustin Henry has treated us to a couple of minutes of extremely easy-on-the-eyes manoeuvres in his new part for Thunder Trucks, coming through with his usual mix of floaty mannies and ledge tech alongside cameos from the likes of Nick Michel, Adelaide Norris and more of the homies.
Join the Globe squad for a trip to London in their new 'Smokescreen' edit as Austyn Gillette, Sammy Montano, Christian Maalouf, Mark Appleyard and Val Bauer unleash a barrage of extremely handsome skateboarding on some of the Big Smoke's most iconic spots.
We're quickly learning that anything with Asics' name attached is guaranteed to slap and Marca Barbier's new 'Fine Grit' part proves this once again as he takes the scenic route at a range of Parisian spots, opting for a variety of less-than-ideal run-ups and rollaways.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
