The Week Today, Now - 22/08/2022
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including GX1000's new full-length, Dick Rizzo taking it back to the 90s, and Marc Johnson's son proving that it runs in the family.
The GX1000 crew have come through with over 50 minutes of hair-raising savagery in San Francisco and beyond in their latest blockbuster, 'Right Here For Pablo', featuring all the usual suspects like Chris Athans, Sean Greene, Jeff Carlyle, Eddie Cernicky, and Jake Johnson as well as some heartwarming, posthumous P-Spliff clips. RIP.
Another stellar offering from the Vans Europe crew, 'Buona Compagnia' sees a heavy squad of European talent heading to Milan to make the most of the premium Italian surfaces. Featuring Chris Pfanner, Helena Long, Flo Marfaing, Rob Maatman and many, many more, 'Good Company' really is a fitting name.
No you haven't just woken up in 1994 - although the shoes check out - it's Dick Rizzo's Vans Half Cab part filmed exclusively in Hi-8. Full to the brim with steep banks, cutty spots, cellar doors, and even a Fred Gall cameo, this one ticks all the boxes.

Japan's most enjoyable siblings since Mario and Luigi, Shintaro and Masaki Hongo, have made the journey Stateside to celebrate the release of their new colourway of the DC Metric S, resulting in a delightful VX part filmed by Zach Chamberlain.
Never heard of Avery Johnson before but the impeccable trick selection in his new 'Enter The Museum' part is guaranteed to make you want to see more from him, although I guess it's pretty unsurprising that he's so good considering he's Marc Johnson's son. Nice to see it runs in the family even if he looks nothing like his old man.
In a plot twist that nobody ever saw coming, Etnies might be cool again! In their latest video, 'Stunts', they ditched the big huckers and rounded up their most stylish skaters for a trip round the East Coast with Barney Page, Julian Lewis, Nick Garcia, and Aidan Campbell.
The Heated Wheel's team just keeps getting more stacked with Finnish legend, Eniz Fazliov, being the latest to join Neil Blender's new venture with a very well-deserved pro model coming soon.
Alex Willms comes through with his usual brand off all-terrain domination in his new part, 'sop', conquering mountainous handrails, stairs, and ditches as well as a healthy portion of fiddly tech.
More Cali-based goodness from Felix Soto and the boys in their new edit, 'GOOD 2 BE ALIVE', which features Tristan Funkhouser, Alex Moran, Hart Pullman, and more as they navigate a wealth of spots from schoolyards to ditches.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skate product and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
