Coming in hot with their new August issue, Thrasher Magazine have paid tribute to one of skateboarding's most beloved characters, Lance Mountain, with a new cover featuring artwork by the man himself. Landing himself on the cover of Thrasher for the second time (a hefty 41 years after his first), Lance Mountain has worked his artistic magic, transforming an iconic photo of him smith grinding a backyard pool into a vibrant painting.

On top of the extra special Lance Mountain cover, Thrasher Magazine Issue 529 also features the in-depth Life and Times article in which Lance takes us on a trip down memory lane, charting the course of his 40-odd year career from the early Bones Brigade days right up to his recent 60th birthday.
