Product Spotlight - New Balance Q2 2022
New Balance are back with their second drop of 2022, featuring a load of crisp new colourways for all your favourite models.
New Balance always come through with the fire colourways and this drop is no exception. Their Q2 drop is one of the freshest to date with a range of clean colourways that are guaranteed to get you hyped for summer. Whether you want a refreshing cream number to keep those hooves cool, or a timeless black and white aesthetic; New Balance have got you covered.
New Balance Vulcs
If you're a fan of vulcanised skate shoes then you're in luck as New Balance's Q2 collection features loads of bangin' new colours for all of their most popular shoes, including the NM22, 272, and 306. They've even brought back the 306 slip-on and the high-top 213 if you're looking for something a bit different.
The ever-popular 272 has been treated to two different variants: a sleek Black / Grey model with a black upper and white sole; or a vibrant Navy / White option with a navy and white upper, white sole, and red accents. The 272 is one of our best-selling shoes, and for good reason. The one-piece suede toe box maximises flick and durability by keeping exposed seams away from high-wear areas. Meanwhile, the removable Ortholite insole provides ultimate comfort and support while still providing the superior boardfeel you expect from a vulcanised sole. These bad boys are a certified street skating essential.
Another one of our best-selling shoes, the Jamie Foy 306 pro model shoe is back with a stylish Grey / White colourway that's perfect for summer chillin'. The 306 is one of the most technical vulcanised shoes in New Balance's range with the NDurance rubber outsole providing maximum durability and the Abzorb insole helping maximise impact protection. Perfect for front krooking triple-kink handrails. If that's not enough, the New Balance 306 also features a rubber underlay in high-wear areas to provide an additional layer of protection against unwanted tears.
On top of this, the New Balance 306 Jamie Foy Slip On is back to satisfy all your laceless needs. The 306 Slip On features a reissue of a classic New Balance colour. You may remember this Black / Green variant from the laced version last year and it's definitely one of New Balance's most suave colourways. Serious Gucci vibes. The Slip-On 306 features all the same tech as the standard version but without the laces, and best of all they're £10 cheaper.
New Balance's latest model, the NM22, is also back with a very stylish new colourway. It seems New Balance are all about simplicity when it comes to this shoe and the newest colourway is no exception. This sleek White / Tan number is easily one of our favourite colourways from the drop. It's straight up elegant. What's more, the clean and simple construction of the shoe adds function as well as fashion. With the T-toe construction and inverted seams, the shoe has virtually no exposed seams which massively boosts durability. Throw in the NDurance rubber outsole and these shoes are built to last. What more could you want?
Last but not least, the New Balance 213 also makes a return with a creamy new colourway. This Sea Salt / Red variant features a cream upper and a white sole with red accenting for a lovely bit of flair. The canvas construction makes these shoes super lightweight and breathable so they're the perfect choice for summer. Plus, with the suede toe cap and ollie patch the 213 boasts maximum durability in high-wear areas so you don't have to compromise on durability to get the benefits of a canvas shoe. To top it all off, the high-top construction provides additional ankle support to keep your ankles locked in and prevent those dreaded ankle rolls.
New Balance Cupsoles
Admittedly this collection is pretty slim on the ol' cupsoles, but let's say it's quality over quantity. New Balance's premier cupsole, the Tiago Lemos 1010, is arguably one of the best skate shoes in the game right now. But what else would you expect from the Brazilian GOAT?
The New Balance 1010 Tiago Lemos is back with another sleek black colourway. This Black / Black option features an all black upper with red accents and a white sole with a bangin' clear rubber outsole. As always, the 1010 is packed with premium tech including the Fantom Fit heel stabilisers and padded colour for ultimate ankle support, as well as the FuelCell midsole for maximum comfort and impact protection. The suede and mesh upper provides all the benefits of suede while offering optimal breathability and the triple-stitched reinforced toe-box helps maximise durability. It really doesn't get much better than this.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of New Balance skate shoes and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
