Product Spotlight - Bronze 56k Spring '22

There's always more than meets the eye when it comes to Bronze 56k. Have a read below to find out the story behind some of their latest graphics.

It's always a treat seeing what insane graphics the Bronze crew come out with, and their latest collection is no exception. Bronze's Spring 2022 collection packs a load of fresh new designs featuring some delightfully niche cultural references, as well as some premium heavyweight champion tees for the fabric nerds.

Bronze 56k 'Bronzerker' T-Shirt (Black) - CSC, Cardiff Skateboard Club - UK Skate Store

One of our favourite pieces from the drop, the 'Bronzerker' tee features a bangin' X-Men inspired graphic with a distinctly Bronze twist. With both chest and back prints, this bad boy gives you maximum bang for your buck. The front graphic is a reimagining of the iconic cover of the Marvel comicbook, 'Marvel Comics Presents' volume 1 issue 79, which features a gruesome illustration of the character, Weapon X.

Of course, Bronze have changed it up a bit, spinning it in their own signature style by adding a Marvel inspired Bronze logo as well as changing his iconic claws into bolts. Likewise, the back print features the 'Bronzerker!' slogan on top of those distinctive Wolverine slash marks. The savage line drawing style gives this tee some seriously metal vibes which really helps it stand out from some of the fresher graphics in the collection. Whether you're a fan of comic books, or you just like brutal graphics, this one is a certified banger.

That's not all though, the drop also includes another premium pop culture reference, this time featuring a reimagining of the iconic rabbit mascot of legendary pop-punk band, blink-182. The rabbit famously appeared on the cover of the early blink single, 'Apple Shampoo', in which the cartoon bunny can be seen doing a sick front board on a handrail. Not sure who the original picture actually is though, so if anyone knows then let us know to earn yourself some serious street cred.

Again, Bronze have reimagined this iconic character with a distinctive hardware theme. The bunny has been replaced with an anthropomorphised hammer in the same two-stepping pose, while the carrot he's holding has been replaced by a drill. The hammer's notably more gangsta too seeing as he's got a big ol' chain round his neck. Enough of the Primitive x Dragon Ball Z bullshit, this unofficial Bronze 56k x blink 182 mashup is what the people really want.

Don't worry though, it's not all obscure comic book and pop punk references, Bronze have still got you covered if you're a real chad who just likes sports. The aptly-named 'Sports' tees employ a classic American sports jersey aesthetic with both chest and back prints. The chest print features a Bronze logo in an iconic baseball-inspired font, while the back print features a large 56 with either the name 'Allen' or 'Phillips'. Get it? Like the bolts? Never mind. As an added bonus, these tees are printed on top-quality, heavyweight Champion tees so if you're someone who cares about their textiles, the Bronze 'Sports' T-shirts are a must-have.
