Founded in 1998 by UK legend, Mark 'Foz' Foster, Heroin Skateboards is one of the most legendary UK skate brands after over 25 years in the game. Despite the name, Foz actually hates drugs and instead chose the name Heroin because he’s addicted to skateboarding, which most of us can definitely relate to.
With much of their artwork coming from the brand’s founder, Foz, or prolific UK artist, Funeral French, Heroin skateboard decks are known for their horror-inspired graphics featuring various different kinds of grotesque monsters, creepy eyeballs, horror movie references and general spookiness.
But it’s not just their graphics which employ the esoteric as Heroin Skateboards produce some of the craziest shaped decks in the game, ranging from more traditional old-school shapes to outlandish, bulbous Mutants and XL Curb Crushers for the most sophisticated shaped deck connoisseurs.
Most notably, Heroin are known for their signature range of Egg shaped decks, which first began in 2016 after Daniel Shimizu requested an 90s-inspired ‘football’ shaped deck. Fast forward a few years and the Heroin Egg has become an international sensation with a cult-like following around the world and countless different variations. We’ve got Razor Eggs, Symmetrical Eggs, Wide Boy Eggs, Mini Eggs, Gold Eggs, Fried Eggs and even 14” Eggzillas to satisfy all your ovular cravings.
To match their weird and wonderful decks, the Heroin Skateboards team is equally diverse in its array of legends specialising in all varieties of unorthodox skating. The Heroin Skateboards team currently features Dead Dave, Tom Day, Lee Yankou, Swampy, Craig ‘Questions’ Scott, Aaron Wilson, Charlie Gush, Dalton Dern, Chris Pulman and more.
