Collection: Clown

Clown Skateboards first started out in 2000 when they made a splash with their one-of-a-kind series of decks and iconic logo designed by infamous graffiti artist, Banksy. The team at the time boasted some of the UK's finest skaters, including Simon Skipp, Chris Oliver, Benny Fairfax, Garry Woodward and Dom Henry, until they put the brand on ice in 2005.

15 years later, Clown came back with a vengeance in 2020 with a new and improved team featuring the likes of Josh Cox joining Clown veterans, Simon Skipp and Chris Oliver. Since then, Clown has continued to put out striking graphics featuring their iconic Banksy logo as well as teaming up with other artists like Tygar Miles Smith.

It's not all about the visuals though as Clown have set themselves apart from other skate brands with their unique approach to sustainability, opting to produce everything at home in the UK to minimise carbon footprint, working with sustainably-sourced wood and renewable energy providers as well as recycling all their waste products.

Clown has also set up their own Community Interest Company called 'In Action' which works to support local communities and DIY projects through skateboarding.

Recently, Clown have collaborated with AllCityX to pay tribute to legendary Brazilian film, 'City of God', with a range of limited skateboard decks, the proceeds from which go to supporting local communities in Cidade de Deus where the film is set.
