To say New Balance have made investments into the UK skate scene in recent years would be somewhat of an understatement, considering the brand have firmly established dominance in the hearts and minds of people across the country. While they're a relative newcomer to the skate industry - only starting their skate program in 2013 - they've been able to stand up to the more established giants by doing things the right way: by hooking up a host of talented yet oft-neglected Brits like Tom Knox, Jeremy Jones, Charlie Birch and Dom Henry while many of the other big brands have been slowly decimating their teams, with the UK and Euro heads often first on the chopping block.

Now, it's 10 years down the line and New Balance have racked up quite the portfolio, with a network of assets spanning the length and breadth of the British Isles. Luckily for us, they've been gracious enough not to hoard these assets all to themselves and have recruited the talents of master videographer, Quentin Guthrie, to redistribute the wealth with his new edit, 'Assets'. Quentin has rounded up a strong selection of UK-based New Balance heads, including Dale Starkie, Will Sheerin, Dee Collins, Dom Henry, Massimo Cristofoletti, Charlie Munro and Davide Holzknecht, for a comprehensive summary of the UK's silkiest styles. You may also be surprised to see former Converse legend Matlok Bennett-Jones is now rocking the NB which is further proof that New Balance is for the people.

Coinciding nicely with the release of 'Assets', we've got some lovely new colourways in the ever-popular New Balance 306 Jamie Foy skate shoes. Built for boardfeel and durability, the Jamie Foy 306 is one of the most popular vulcanised shoes on the market thanks to the durability of New Balance's NDurance rubber outsole and the added impact protection of the Abzorb insole. They're also guaranteed to improve your pinch, although this hasn't been scientifically proven... The new colourways include the summery Sea Salt / Green, the instant classic Black / Red and the delicious sounding Curry / White which is our favourite for obvious reasons. So what you waiting for? Grab yourself a pair of New Balance. Support the boys so they can keep making bangin' videos like this. Join the revolution.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop now to browse the full range of New Balance skate shoes and buy now from CSC. Or, find out about more of our latest products on the CSC Blog. Safe.
