The Week Today, Now - 4/4/2022
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including new Bobby Worrest part, Thunder x Chrystie, and Raiders of the Lost Park.
The good homies from Skateboarder’s Companion rounded up some of South Wales’ fiercest dragons for an assault on Pentwyn skatepark, featuring Jake Collins, Don Irfan, Lloyd Houston, Sam Pulley, Dylan Hughes, Bummo, Skinny, and Harry Deane, plus a special guest appearance from the main man, T-Wolf. Turns out you can polish a turd.
Krooked have blessed us with new footage of Bobby Worrest tearing up his hometown of Washington D.C. Bobby pieces together buttery lines before shutting it down with a hectic switch ender. Don’t think I’ll ever get sick of watching him skate Pulaski.
Barcelona-based Sopa Skateboards have just released their first video featuring Javi De Pedro, Maceo Moreau, Samuel Parrado, and more. The boys style their way through the streets of Spain with some bonus US footy thrown in the mix. This one’s a very enjoyable watch.
Léo Cholet has a new part out for Venture with some very eye-pleasing trick and spot selection. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the French scene is on fire right now.
Treat your eyeholes to some new Aaron Herrington and Maxi Schaible footy in the new Thunder x Christie NYC clip, 'Loose Bolts'. Sublime trick selection as always from these two legends.
Kyler Garrison delivers the goods in his new part filmed by Colton Abernathy, filled with speedy lines and some extremely choice manoeuvres. Bonus points for the jazzy soundtrack.
Two Brazilian-owned brands - Barcelona’s Al Carrer skate shop and LA-based Crupiê Wheels - have teamed up for a wheel collab, resulting in a clip that’s absolutely stacked with Brazilian legends including Tiago Lemos, Carlos Ribeiro, Carlos Iqui, and more. That first Tiago line is a thing of beauty.
Celebrate the opening of Valencia’s new local, Parts Skateshop, with a bangin’ 9-minute edit of Javi De Pedro, Victor Marín, Javi Fioretto and Lukas Amador laying waste to the streets.
Indulge in 20 minutes of assorted Ville Wester footage compiled from various corners of the interwebs.
Deathwish new blood, Brian O’Dwyer, leads the charge in the latest clip from OJ Wheels, alongside Chris Dinya, Carson Reuther, and more. There’s even a tasty snippet of Matt Militano footage to top it all off.
Even more French flavour in this short but sweet clip of William Monerris showing off his balancing capabilities.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skate product and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more skateboard news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
