The Week Today, Now - 25/04/2022

Dan Bunn

Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including new Heitor footy, Hubba Hideout resurrected, and PJ's dancing debut.

Tyson Peterson, Figgy, and T-Funk come through with the hammers in the new clip from Baker. As usual Tyson keeps it loose, Figgy chomps some hefty rails, and T-Funk slams himself into every wall he sees. That China Banks ollie is seriously fucked.

The style god, Heitor Da Silva, has blessed us with an eight-minute banger that’s guaranteed to get you hyped. You know you’re good when even your bails are stylish enough to make it into the part.

Mike Anderson’s been on a mad one recently, coming through with another hectic new part, this time for Spitfire Wheels. Manderson charges through the streets with his signature blend of mindblowing wallrides and switch gnarliness, with some hectic high speed mannies for some additional flavour.

Street League brought Hubba Hideout back from the grave for a special event, which would’ve been pretty sick if it wasn’t so bland and corporate. I mean, come on, you could’ve thrown some dirty needles on the floor for the extra sketch factor, or at the very least got some kids to tag the hubbas. Braden Hoban killed it though, you could tell Koston was seething when he landed the kickflip back noseblunt. Would still rather watch Fred Gall's switch crook.

The Italian youth have come through with yet another bangin’ edit filmed at Milano Centrale and some other familiar spots. Don’t think I could ever get bored of Centrale footage.

Pirate Man’s hilarious new skate/dance extravaganza is now up online for your viewing pleasure featuring the one and only Peej making his dancing debut. Prepare to be confused.

Ryan Lay has a new part out announcing he’s joined the Sci-Fi Fantasy team, making him the brand’s first and only pro.

Pontus Alv chatted to Solo about all things Last Resort, have a read to find out why they're the best shoes in the game (spoiler: they get you laid). The good homie Billy Trick also had a feature in their latest issue, in which he talks about having the best slams in the game.

Check out the bangin’ new full-length out of New Zealand with possibly the most optimistic/smug name for a video ever. New Zealand might be nice but doubt you’d get a video from the UK called ‘lifes amazing’ right now.

Heaps of hammers in the new video from Adidas' Aussie contingent, 'Light Years'. Dennis Durrant can't be stopped.

Doomsayers ATV Eli Williams shuts it down in his section from 'Overload'. You can also check out Jenkem's interview with the filmer/editor, Chason Trau, if you want to find out more about this highly exciting new 2-hour homie epic. Can't wait to see the full vid.

Is there ever a week that goes by without a bangin' new video out of Japan? Peep Kenta Okamoto's 'StreetJunkeez v.2' for your otaku fix.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skate product and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more skateboard news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
