The Week Today, Now - 09/02/2026
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including a new Phil Shao documentary, Suciu and Daewon in LA and Pirate Man's ode to pushing mongo.

In what has already been a very content-rich year for South Wales, we’ve been treated to to a characteristically bonkers new video from Spit and Sawdust’s very own Pirate Man as he takes it up himself to celebrate the ugly duckling that is the mongo push in ‘What About Us?!’, showcasing some of the finest (or worst, depending on your outlook) examples of unorthodox pushing from the likes of Jordan Thackeray, Welsh Tommy, Chris Jones, Harry Lintell, Dylan Hughes and many more alongside Christian's usual flair for the dramatic.
Dive deep into the lore of one of the biggest legends of the '90s in Thrasher's new documentary, 'The Legend of Phil Shao'. Packed with 50 minutes of archival footage and interviews from Phil's peers as they discuss his groundbreaking talent and the huge impact he has during his tragically short time on this earth, this documentary's well worth a watch if you're into your history.
Another one for the history nerds, adidas' new 'Parallels' edit serves up two GOATs for the price of one as Mark Suciu heads to LA to link up with Daewon Song for a tour around some of the city's most iconic venues which Daewon hit back in the day, including the Alta Vista Curb, Beryl Banks and Adams School, while Daewon offers up an insight into the good ol' days.

Always happy to see a new hardware brand that's actually doing things different and LOOP Hardware, founded by Fabiana Delfino, Nicole Hause and Dayana Young, are doing exactly that with their stacked all-female lineup, including the likes of Samarria Brevard, Georgia Martin, Hayley Wilson and many more, all of whom you can witness kill it in their debut vid, 'STFU'.
Plenty of eye-pleasing manoeuvres in the new 'Roll The Dice' edit from Noah as Louie Lopez, Krazy Frankie, Chris Tenorio and Evan Wasser hit a wide variety of flowy bank and ditch spots in Las Vegas before cruising the local skatepark and a dreamy backyard mini-ramp where Frankie's mum manages to score herself a guest clip.
Witness some textbook Brazilian tech courtesy of JP Villa in his new part, 'Piāo', as he dances his way around the ledges of Sao Paolo's legendary Vale Do Anhangabaú plaza, showing off his immaculate footwork with a load of bonkers manny combos and quick-footed lines.

More raw clips and alt angles from Newport's finest as Carve Wicked continue the Great Footage Dump of 2026 with five minutes of all-terrain hammers from Bummo as he tackles everything from pools to handrails.
Even more strong Welsh representation in Arbor's new tour edit as Ace Pelka joins Will Mux and Jordan Sharkey as they make their way round some of the UK's finest street tran while also managing to sneak in a session at Tredegar.
Joseph Campos footage is always a treat and his new quick hit for Thunder Trucks is no exception as he floats his way around the streets of Los Angeles with a minute of classically-trained hammers. More please.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
