The Week Today, Now - 02/02/2026

Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Carhartt WIP in Japan, Dykie's 50th and some premium Artefact off-cuts.

We've come to expect great things from Carhartt WIP's video output and their latest offering, 'Ishin Dinshin' doesn't disappoint as they're impeccable squad hit the streets of Japan with Romain Batard behind the lens. Serving up just under 20 minutes of straight flavour from the likes of Eetu Toropainen, Max Palmer, Noah Mahieu, Kyonosuka Yamashita and more, I don't think we have to tell you that this one's not to be missed.

Following on from his incredible full-length, 'Artefact', Nick Bastard has treated us to a further 10 minutes of London-based excellence in his new 'Remnants' edit which brings together a load of unused footy from the project from the likes of Chris Oliver, Ranga, Jack Thompson, our man Dylan Hughes and many more. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving!

Vicariously experience Dykie's 50th birthday festivities as Nick Bastard and the birthday boy himself document the proceedings as we made our way down to Pitt Street skate park, alongside a load of other legends including OG Crayon and East heads like Dave Mackey, Korahn Gayle and more. Happy half century Dykie!

Having finally made its way online after premiering back in September 2024, 'Rishy's Video' is a somewhat new video based out of Auckland, New Zealand filmed by Scott Rishworth and edited by Daniel Jochems which brings together a load of local talent, like Cato Dobbs, Charlie Aubrey, Tai Wepa and Theo Clarke, and visiting legends like Tom Snape, Lucas D'Souza and Shaun Paul.

Matt Militano gives new meaning to the phrase 'poetry in motion' as he pushes his unrivalled creativity to new heights in his 'MM' part, laying down a load of never-before-seen ledge manoeuvres and high tech wallie variations that few others could dream of never mind actually do. 

The non-stop footage machine that is Osian Bowen-Thomson is back with yet another bangin' mini series for Episode LTD, this time documenting some of the countless hammers which regularly go down at everyone's favourite TF in 'The Spit & Sawdust Tapes'. Check 'em out on the Episode Insta!

Not long after his recent Euro edit, Naquan Rollings is back with another new offering as he returns to his usual LA stomping ground to catch up with the usual suspects, including Nakel Smith, Tanner Burzinski, Thomas Dritsas, Marcos Montoya, Jamie Foy.

Witness a heavy squad hitting the streets of Colombia in the latest edit from Butter Goods as Dougie George, Shaun Paul, Aleka Lang, Jacopo Carrozzi and more of your faves make the most of the hectic hill spots and premium plazas.

'Downtime' is a bangin' new Portland-based video by Adam Robo featuring a bangin' new Sebo Walker part as he finds his own way to skate Burnside, alongside the likes of Rommel Torres, Austin Thongvivong and more local legends.
