The Week Today, Now - 05/09/2022
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including NYC bench theft, Tiago's new pro shoe, and Jamie Platt pro for Polar.
Catch a load of Philly's finest in the new edit from Harry Bergenfield, 'She's Cheating', which features legends like Kevin Liedtke, Brian Panebianco, and Jahmir Brown, although young gun Brian O'Dwyer stole the show with his the footage of his Thrasher cover and his smouldering roll-up stare. What's even better though is the fact that these boys drove up to New York in a UHAUL van and stole AVE's curved bench from Tompkins. Respect.
Thursday saw the opening night of premieres for Polar's latest full-length, 'Sounds Like You Guys Are Crushing It', in London which we were fortunate enough to be invited to (massive thanks to Keen Dist for sorting us out!). Huge congrats to all the boys who absolutely killed it in the video, and an even bigger congrats to Jamie Platt who they turned pro at the premiere. Wholesome shit.
'Calice' is a bangin' new full-length from the MKD crew which features a wide assortment of baggy trousers and jorts, alongside an ever wider assortment of stylish Brazilians, including Felipe Rocha, Leo Favaro, Rodrigo De Souza, Bruno Prado and Lucas Marquez.
Heavy selection of Aussie legends in the new video from Sunday Hardware including Jack O'Grady, Chima Ferguson, Jake Hayes, Jackson Pilz, Dane Burman, and more.
As if one pro model shoe wasn't enough, New Balance have blessed Tiago with his second pro shoe, the New Balance Tiago Lemos 808, which obviously means we get a minute of new Tiago footage to go with it. Sounds like a win-win.
Very eye-pleasing manoeuvres from London-based Kiwi, Jarrad Carlin, in his new part filmed by Sirus Gahan with the added bonus of a sneaky Tom Snape cameo. Kinda hope putting emojis in the title of videos doesn't become a new trend mind.
Catch the DC Crew havin' it large in Central America with the likes of John Shanahan, Wes Kremer and Alexis Ramirez putting the smackdown on a load of sub-equatorial spots.
Arthur Myhill has made his filming debut with his new Paris-based edit, 'fever dream', which features an assortment of talent including Korahn Gayle, Kyle Wilson, Max Wasungu, photographer James Griffiths, and many more.
French ATV, Alex Richards, has come through with a new part for his local, Riot Skateshop, showcasing his multi-faceted mastery of the stunt plank as he dominates a wide range of Bordeaux spots.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skate product and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
