The Fountain of Youth | Video Daze

The wait is finally over! Catch a load of your favourite Cardiff heads in action in the highly-anticipated new video from Fountain, 'The Fountain of Youth'.

In between serving up his own-brand Blue Steel on runways across the world and grafting away as part of the CSC industrial complex, our very own Leo Comanescu has also been getting busy in the streets filming for his long-awaited new Fountain video. Known for operating in his own timezone at the best of times, 'The Fountain of Youth' comes a whopping four years after the previous CSC x Fountain video, 'Synergy'. But 'good things come to those who wait,' as the saying goes, and while we have had to wait a bloody long time, luckily the video is actually pretty good.

Clocking in at a very respectable 20 minute runtime (even if the oldhead in me still shudders at calling that a full-length), 'The Fountain of Youth' is chock full of all your (and our) favourite Cardiff heads and adjacent legends. Whether they're running laps at the Centre of the Universe or seeking out fresh drains to be popped across the city, the squad came correct in this one as they lay down hammer after hammer - many of which the astute viewers among you may recognise from our various ads over the years.

Showcasing a strong selection of our CSC Shop Dragons and other local legends, including Don Irfan, Leo Comanescu, Jack Branch, Dylan Hughes, Jimmy Silver, Paul Jenkins, Jacob Price, Dylan O'Hare, Welsh Tommy, Dylan Driscoll, Ruwen Richards, Lloyd Houston, Sean Barnes and Gabe Gorman, 'The Fountain of Youth' definitely feels like a return to the glory days of Cardiff skateboarding.

We might be slightly biased but it's safe to say all the boys killed it. We've got Jack Branch laying down a load of old-school tekkers, PJ bringing his signature swagger, Don doing that back noseblunt, Lloyd demonstrating that his third eye is still firmly open and Bughead proving that his actions speak even louder than his already very loud words. Despite all this, Gabe still manages to claim the title of MVP in my eyes with his Blue Peter-certified flavour.

We all know Gabe's been killing it since he was fresh out the womb but he shows what puberty can do to a MF as he lays down a load of no-nonsense bangers, including some especially bonkers rail hits. The little kid with the grown-up flick is now a grown-up himself and he's taken those bangin' kickflips we all know and love from various Spit and Sawdust jams and Plaza Comps out into the streets, alongside the rest of his equally well-developed bag of tricks.
