Here to restore some semblance of national pride with his second, distinctively London Thrasher cover, Tom Knox has worked his magic yet again with a one-of-a-kind cover that only he could think of, never mind pull off. Shot by New Zealand's finest lensman, Jake Darwen, the new Tom Knox Thrasher cover sees Tom squeezing himself down a narrow staircase, throwing some Harry O'Gilvie-esque shapes to save himself from the cheese grater.
The footage of this precarious ollie can be seen in his recent part celebrating the release of his incredible new pro shoe, the New Balance Numeric Tom Knox 600, as he weaves together one of his signature quick-footed lines before taking the plunge. Interestingly, the first Tom Knox Thrasher cover also featured a trick taken from a line, potentially making him the first person to ever do this which is a pretty mental NBD, and almost definitely the first person to do it twice - although if anyone knows any other examples then make sure to tell us we're wrong.
Inside Thrasher Magazine Issue 521, you can find a bounty of interviews, features and more with all your favourite skaters and brands including Rowan Zorilla discussing his extracurricular activities, Pass~Port and Evisen in Japan, Sour in Morocco, 30 years of Girl Skateboards and a new interview with Aussie rail chomper, Rob Pace. As if that's not enough, it also comes with an exclusive Fucking Awesome zine packed with pictures from their hectic Hollywood skate jam. What more could you want?
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of Thrasher magazines and clothing and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
