Seeing as the brand's founder, Tom Botwid, studied in the Berlin Art Academy, it's no surprise that Poetic Collective's skateboard decks are veritable works of art themselves. Their latest collection of skateboard decks draws inspiration from the maximalist movement - an "aesthetic of excess" founded as a reaction against minimalism - with graphics that are crowded with a variety of colours, abstract shapes, and brush strokes which immediately capture your eye even among the other bold designs on our board wall. Printed by skater-owned and operated Control MFG in Canada using only the highest-quality Canadian maple, you know that Poetic Collective's decks are just as good to skate as they are to look at, but we don't blame you if you just want one for the wall.

The collection also features a strong selection of caps and beanies, with several 6-panel dad hat offerings and some cosy woollen beanies to help keep those winter chills at bay. We've already said that Poetic Collective is heavily influenced by the world of art, and nothing says that more clearly than their 'Art' 6-panel cap. With an unstructured 6-panel construction, this tongue-in-cheek design features a minimalist embroidery of the word 'Art', so you can subtly broadcast your artiness and sophistication to the world and, hopefully, score yourself a hot date to the art gallery. However, if you're a lowly philistine, Poetic's latest drop also features their classic logo cap so you don't have to worry about being called out for being an art poser.
