It's finally happened: CSC now stocks DC Shoes! To compliment our extensive range of premium baggy pants, we knew we had to stock up on some timeless puffy DC shoes to complete the 90s aesthetic - and what better way to bring them in than with their new collab with Skateboard Cafe. The DC x CAFE collection features bangin' new colourways for the DC 'Clocker 2' and the DC 'Kalis OG' for that premium 90s swag, as well as a new Lloyds-themed Skate Cafe deck that's begging to go up on the wall.

DC x Skateboard Cafe Kalis OG

One of DC's most legendary shoes for one of their most legendary skaters, the 'Kalis OG' is called OG for a reason, and the new DC x Skate Cafe 'Kalis OG' have put the perfect modern twist on a certified classic. Coming in with an icy white and light grey colourway, the DC 'Kalis OG x CAFE' shoe draws inspiration from the iconic white ledges which Lloyds is famous for, resulting in a clean aesthetic that's grounded in the rich history of Bristol's most famous skate spot. They also feature a bangin' Lloyds-based custom insole, a rubber DC x CAFE logo on the (massive, puffy, 90s AF) tongue and a Lloyds-inspired embroidery on the heel based off of Josh Arnott's hand tattoos. They even come in a custom shoe box with a picture of Lloyds on it if that ain't enough Lloyds-based content for you.

First released in 1999, it's safe to say the DC 'Kalis OG' is a big boy. With the shoe's chunky, high-density foam collar and tongue coupled with the cupsole construction (which even features a shock-absorbing air bubble in the heel for extra cushioning), the DC x CAFE 'Kalis OG' is like a hug for your feet. And I mean they've got Kalis' name on them so you're guaranteed to be stomping tre flips over trash cans as soon as you put them on. There's a reason the DC 'Kalis OG' is one of the best-selling pro shoes ever made: shit's gangsta.

DC x Skateboard Cafe Clocker 2

Alongside the 'Kalis OG', the DC x Skate Cafe collection also features a new variant of the DC 'Clocker' for those who are looking for something that's a bit less tech while still keeping the 90s chunky shoe vibe. The DC x Skate Cafe 'Clocker 2' comes in a stylish blue colourway with various shades of blue on the shoes' different panels alongside a white midsole and gum outsole. For extra style points they also feature patterned laces and a wrap-around DC logo on the heel, as well as the custom Lloyds insole and rubber DC x CAFE tongue patch.

While they're not quite as puffy as the 'Kalis OG', the DC x Skate Cafe 'Clocker 2' is still a respectably chunky shoe with their robust cupsole construction and padded foam collar and tongue for additional comfort and support. For added durability, the DC x CAFE 'Clocker 2' shoes feature textured rubber patches on the toe and heel to help prevent blowouts no matter your preferred discipline of flip. You may even recognise the name clocker from the recent DC x Bronze 56k Clocker shoe, so it's safe to say the DC x Skate Cafe 'Clocker 2' carries on this lineage of legendary collabs.

DC x Skateboard Cafe 'Lloyds' Deck

Rounding off this premium collection, we've also got the new Skateboard Cafe x DC skateboard deck which features a bangin' photo of Lloyds taken by legendary UK photographer, James Griffiths. You'll probably recognise the photo by now as it also features on the shoes' designer insoles and their custom shoe boxes. The whole Lloyds x DC thing makes a lot of sense when you think about it because Lloyds is basically the West Country equivalent of Love Park, right? Plus, it's pretty sick to see someone skate Lloyds on a Lloyds-inspired deck wearing Lloyds inspired shoes. I would say it's 'Lloyds-ception' but that would be wrong because 'inception' actually refers to the whole 'planting an idea in someone's mind' thing, not the 'dream within a dream' thing, so I dunno what it would be called.
