Not That Hot | CSC in Malaysia

Take yourself on a vicarious trip to tropical Malaysia as we made our way over for a long overdue catch-up with everyone's favourite Cute Asian Boy.

Following on from our article in Issue 16 of Skateboarder's Companion - which saw none other than our very own Don Irfan land the cover - the footage from our trip to Malaysia is finally online for your viewing pleasure in the shape of our latest edit: 'Not That Hot'. Despite a load of the footage ending up in Carve Wicked's 'Cheers Dean' video, we still had enough left over for four minutes of straight vibes from the rest of the boys as they bring a taste of Wales to the streets of Malaysia; like a beef rendang with half-and-half. Get stuck in!

Filmed and edited by the gaffer with help from local legends, Nizam Hisham and Johan Arif, and even some bonus DonCam footy, 'Not That Hot' features the finest ambassadors we could possibly pick to represent Wales, with clips from Jake Collins, Lloyd Houston, Paul 'PJ' Jenkins, Oscar Evans and Mike Ridout, alongside Malaysia's finest: Don Irfan. The boys managed to churn out more than their fair share of bangers despite sweating through three pairs of pants a day, hitting up pristine downtown banks and ledges, rural ditches and full-pipes, and everything in between.

From the immaculate street spots to the dreamy waterfalls and next-level water parks, we feel like we did a pretty good job of capturing just how dope the country is, so if anyone from the Malaysian tourism board (or any other tropical destination) fancies sponsoring the next trip then hit us up! But while we wait for the deals to come flooding in, you can keep yourself busy with the full photo gallery from the trip below or help fund our next trip by grabbing one of our newly re-upped 'Universe' T-shirts or any of our other top-quality garments!

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, watch more of the best skate videos on the CSC Blog. Safe.
