UPDATE 04/02/2025: The cat's out of the bag! Images of the New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 have been leaked online giving us our first proper look at the shoe from a range of angles. Check out the Andrew Reynolds 933 leaked images below and let us know what you think in the comments!

UPDATE 06/02/2025: Following the initial leak, images of the first four colourways of the Reynolds 933 have also made their way online, showing the previously-seen Brown colourway alongside all-new Black, Grey and Green options. Keep your eyes peeled for more info on when these new colourways will be released!

UPDATE 25/03/2025: Landing himself on the cover of Living Proof Magazine Issue 9, Andrew Reynolds has given us a sneak peek at what the Andrew Reynolds 933 looks like on the foot as he rocks what looks like the Black / Green colourway (top right in the picture above).
Sadly, we’ve also had some bad news recently as the shoe’s release has been pushed by back a month to mid May after Reynolds discovered a fault in the shoe while skating them which New Balance have then had to fix. However, that does mean that when the Reynolds 933 does finally come out they’re gonna be as good as they possibly can be, because you know the Boss won’t settle for anything less than perfection.

UPDATE 14/04/2025: As the release date draws near, we’ve been given our closest look at the shoe yet with the new Andrew Reynolds High Snobiety interview. While the interview itself only briefly touches on the shoe - shedding some light on the design process, which apparently saw a team of scientists getting involved as if we weren’t already excited enough - it does offer up some of the best images of the Andrew Reynolds 933 that we’ve seen yet in a stylish Blue colourway.

Likewise, New Balance Numeric themselves have also posted their first proper image of the shoe on Instagram, making it even more official than it already was and offering another detailed look at the shoe as a whole. Here we can see close up the shoe’s unique multi-panelled upper which definitely bears a lot of influence from their running shoes as well as the innovative stacked heel design, with what looks like three distinct layers of cushioning, including the new Abzorb midsole, for maximum comfort and impact protection. Sadly, there’s no word on the official release date in the post but hopefully that means we’re still on for a mid-May release.

As if all that’s not exciting enough, Josh Sabini has also done a full deep dive into the shoe with an in-depth article on Sneaker Freaker, doing some of the most important investigative journalism of the year and exposing ‘skateboarding’s most closely guarded footwear secret’. Chatting to New Balance big-wigs and Reynolds himself, the article is without a doubt the most in-depth and informative look at the Reynolds 933 that we’ve had yet, offering up more new images of the shoe as well as some serious lore about all the details in the shoe that we couldn’t possibly summarise here, including a full breakdown of the stacked heel as well as little touches like the ten notches in the toe representing milestones in Reynolds’ life. You really don’t want to miss this one.

Ever since Andrew Reynolds joined the New Balance Numeric squad way back in 2022, there's been one question burning in everyone's minds: when will he be getting his own pro shoe?! New Balance have been pretty hush-hush about the shoe until now and we haven't even been shown it in their upcoming catalogues so we're just as hyped as you to finally catch a glimpse of the New Balance Andrew Reynolds 933 pro shoes in the wild.
After almost three years of anticipation, the cat is finally out of the bag as Reynolds flaunts the long-awaited New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 pro shoe in his new Thrasher Magazine cover. Despite the bonkers kickflip wallride, the New Balance Andrew Reynolds shoes well and truly stole the show driving fans across the world into a frenzy, so let's take a look at what the cover reveals.

First things first, it's pretty clear that the New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds 933 draws inspiration from some of New Balance's legendary running shoes with its multi-panelled upper and old-school runner toe delivering those sweet 90s vibes. Given the name 933, it's safe to assume that Reynolds has taken inspiration from the iconic New Balance 990 range so you can expect to find some of the same technology from the running shoes being reimagined for skateboarding as well as a similar pricepoint to reflect this.
In particular, the sole looks almost identical to the 993s with a a cupsole construction that's thinner towards the toe for enhanced boardfeel and thicker at the heel for additional impact protection. The new Andrew Reynolds New Balance shoe appears to have a stacked heel construction similar to the New Balance 993, which features an added layer of Abzorb DTS cushioning in the heel for extra comfort, so the Andrew Reynolds 933 looks like it could be one of New Balance Numeric's comfiest shoes to date.
As another clue, we can also see a sneaky little green blob towards the heel - which you may recognise from the soles of some of New Balance Numeric's other models, like the Tiago 1010 - suggesting that the shoe may also feature New Balance's signature FuelCell midsole for an extra layer of cushioning and support, or maybe even some brand new technology which performs a similar function.

Following the Thrasher cover, New Balance Numeric have also teased us with a close-up shot off the Andrew Reynolds 933 offering a more detailed look at the heel. While the picture doesn't exactly give us much to go off, we can clearly see that the upper features multiple layers of panelling, including a rubber strip, several layers of double-stitched suede for maximum durability as well as some exposed mesh for added breathability.
Likewise, the picture also shows off the unique stacked heel construction that's eerily similar to the 993, with what looks to be a softer foam layer above a harder rubber sole for next-level cushioning and support. It's pretty rare to see this kind of construction in a skate shoe so we're super excited to be able to get our hands on a pair and see how they skate - but seeing as The Boss has given them his seal of approval, you know they're gonna be good.
Aside from the tech, the image also reveals some of the shoe's branding with a debossed New Balance logo on the rubber strip below a tasteful 933 graphic. As if all this isn't already exciting enough, New Balance Numeric have also teased us with some of the shoe's unused names - which included the 333, 999, 933 and, our personal favourite, the 8055 - to help further build the hype.

Having already been treated to two bangin' Andrew Reynolds 480 colourways over the past few years to keep us ticking over, the wait for his first New Balance Numeric pro model is almost over as the Andrew Reynolds 933 has finally been pegged for a mid-April release after being pushed back due to production issues, with the current release date planned for Friday 18th April.
We all know Reynolds doesn't mess around when it comes to his shoes, famously sawing countless pairs in half to find out how they tick, and considering how long they've been in development it's safe to say they won't disappoint. We're just as excited as you are to find out more about the shoe and we'll do our best to keep you up-to-date with any new info as it becomes available, so keep your eyes on our Blog and subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know!
