A pro skater starting their own company is definitely nothing new, with the skate scene constantly being bombarded with new skater-owned brands being started as often as others fail. However, what is unusual is when we see a new brand come about which does actually do things differently and manages to get us hyped - and one such brand is Loosey Belts.

Distancing themselves from the over-saturated decks and clothing markets, Loosey Loves You have set themselves apart by focusing on one of the few under-exploited areas of the skateboard industry: belts. We all know baggy jeans have long been the meta so of course it makes sense that all these premium trou deserve some equally premium belts to maintain optimal levels of sag - and these are some seriously premium belts. Loosey Loves You

Founded by WKND pro skater/cinematic lead, Jordan Taylor, Loosey Loves You is potentially the world's first dedicated skateboard belt brand, which is a pretty bangin' NBD. Bringing Jordan's signature creativity into the accessories game with wacky ads and some of the wildest belt designs we've ever seen, from classic studded belts for the moshers to denim 'Jelts', Loosey is far from your average skate brand, but that's why we love them.

Matching the outlandish vibe of their belts, the Loosey team showcases a similar disregard for convention with a wide variety of legends repping the brand, including skaters like Franky Villani - who's also brought his own quirky artwork into the mix with his own pro belt - T-Funk, Tom Knox, Yuto Horigome and many more, as well as snowboarders, BMXers, rollerbladers and even some scooter riders - although we know this'll probably raise a few eyebrows. They've even made BLP Kosher his own one-of-one custom belt.
