Just when you think Living Proof might have peaked, they come straight back and one-up themselves with another all-time banger. After their recent Sopranos-themed photobook and 'Triumph: Icons of Rap', you may have thought that they'd already blown their load when it comes to millennial nostalgia but it turns out they still had an ace up their sleeve as they offer up a never-before-seen look into one of the defining landmarks of the era in 'CKY Can't K*ll Yourself'. Part crew, part band, part video series; it's kinda hard to pin down exactly what CKY is but there's one aspect of theirs which there can be no confusion around and that's their influence. The name CKY (which stands for 'Camp Kill Yourself' and is shared with a band featuring some of the crew's members) first began its rise to infamy thanks to their self-titled videos, the first of which was released in 1999, which saw a crew of skateboarders, musicians and general nutters led by Bam Margera and Brandon DiCamillo causing all sorts of chaos around their hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania, accompanied by the now iconic music of the band they share their name with.

These videos eventually caught the attention of some like-minded individuals on the other side of the States, the most significant of which was Jeff Tremaine, who worked as an editor for Big Brother Magazine at the time. Jeff would then go on to unite the members of the CKY crew with some fellow lunatics he'd come into contact with through the magazine, including the likes of Chris Pontius, Dave England and, of course, Johnny Knoxville, forming a weird, masochistic version of The Avengers which we would all come to know and love through the MTV series: 'Jackass'. As I'm sure you're already aware, 'Jackass' proved to be a massive success, spawning various movies and spin-off series (including Viva La Bam, Wildboyz and more) and probably causing a fair few trips to A&E, ultimately becoming one of the defining franchises of the generation with a legacy spanning decades.

Now, Living Proof are offering up a never-before-seen look into this legendary era with their new photobook: 'CKY Can't Kill Yourself'. Working alongside one of the members of the CKY crew, Joe Frantz, the book features a load of his previously unpublished photographs, documenting the chaos that went on both on an and off the screen. Whether they're jumping out of moving cars into bushes or painting Phil and April's entire house blue, the Living Proof CKY Book perfectly captures the sheer chaos that surrounded the crew while they were filming for CKY, Viva La Bam and what would eventually become Jackass with unreleased shots from their most iconic stunts alongside behind-the-scenes hijinx.

As you'd expect, 'CKY Can't Kill Yourself' is jam-packed with all your favourites from the Jackass and CKY days, including Bam, Phil and April Margera, Johnny Knoxville, Rake Yohn, Ryan Dunn and more, alongside a load of other famous faces they roped in along the way, like Mike Vallely, Tony Hawk (who you may have already spotted on the cover), Terry Kennedy, Pharrell Williams and countless others.
