Last Resort Shoes, Available Now

The latest collection from Pontus' new footwear venture, Last Resort AB, features their OG VM001 model - available as low- or high-top -  alongside a brand new style, the VM002. With Pontus at the helm you know it's gonna be all about style and simplicity, and Last Resort's latest drop ticks all the right boxes.

The VM001 is simplicity at its best, the one-piece suede upper leaves minimal seams to blow out giving the shoe added durability whilst maintaining a clean minimalist design. The shoe features a vulcanised sole with high foxing tape to provide ultimate boardfeel, grip and durability, while the leather inner-lining helps keep your feet snug. Despite the shoe's thin construction, the padded insole and leather heel offer surprisingly good padding so you can keep skating in comfort all day long. With a range of tasteful colourways including Black, White, Orange, and Olive, alongside the added option of a high-top version for extra ankle support, this drop has something for everyone.

The latest model from Last Resort, the VM002, shares the VM001s sleek and minimal style but features added toe panel for an extra layer of durability, as well as bonus style points with the suede panel making the shoe look like a cross between a Converse Chuck Taylor and a Vans Sk8-Hi. Available in two stylish colourways, Black or Deep Blue.

It's not all about the shoes though, Last Resort have come through with a sick selection of soft goods including hats, tees, and those all important socks. With summer just round the corner (if it ever stops raining), Last Resort have come prepared with not just one, but three caps. The 'Eyes' 6-panel cap features a lightweight dad-hat style construction with Last Resort's iconic 'Eyes' logo embroidered on it, alongside the 'Half Globe' cord 5-panel - available in black and grey - which also features embroidered artwork.

Complimenting the 'Half Globe' caps, the 'World' and 'LRAB Atlas Monogram' tees share a similar graphic with the iconic eyes poking out from behind a globe. Not sure if Pontus is trying to hint at his plans for world domination but either way, we're backing it. Breaking from the formula, the 'Stick It' tee offers a nice bit of juxtaposition with the clean, minimalist chest print contrasting with the bright and confrontational back print, emblazoned with 'Stick it to the man' above a sick drawing of the aforementioned man taking one right on the kisser.

That's enough chit chat though, scroll down to view the collection or click here to check out our full range of Last Resort goodies at Cardiff Skateboard Club. Safe.
