Video Daze - Welcome 2: Hell

Dan Bunn

The good homies up in Leeds, Welcome Skate Store, have just shown everyone how it's done with their incredible new full-length, 'Welcome 2: Hell'.

Welcome Skate Shop have done their bit to preserve the soon-to-be-forgotten medium of the full-length skate video with their incredible new offering, 'Welcome 2: Hell', complete with name captions for every single skater. Crazy, I know. Even the title's a nod to Toy Machine's iconic full-length, 'Welcome To Hell', which is a very nice touch.

Filmed by the one and only Josh Hallett, the video features full parts from all your favourite Yorkshire-based skaters including Tom Brown, Will Sheerin, Blinky, Albie Edmonds, Zeta Rush, and Foz, as well as appearances from countless other legends of the UK scene including photographer and front crook enthusiast, Reece Leung, and top-tier writers, Jono Coote and Farran Golding. Safe to say the video definitely ain't shy of legends. It seems like pretty much everyone who's ever stepped on a skateboard in or around Leeds has at least one trick.

On top of the all-star cast, the video features a perfect blend of hammers and wholesomeness thanks to strong homie vibes supplied by tastefully selected B-roll. Whether it's Dale dribbling everywhere after eating a sour sweet or Albie jumping into a canal, without hesitation, to rescue the homie's board, 'Welcome 2: Hell' paints a glowing picture of the Leeds scene that's sure to make anyone envious.

Huge respect to Welcome skate store and everyone else involved in making the vid. It's not every day we get treated to a new full-length skate shop vid, and Welcome have set the bar pretty fuckin' high with this one. Looks like Christian's gonna have to pull something absolutely insane out of his arse to top it.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skateboard decks, clothing, shoes and more, and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more of the best skateboard videos on the CSC Blog. Safe.
