The Week Today, Now - 30/10/2023
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including a rare Alex Olson sighting, an unfinished Michael Nicholas edit and a trifecta of new pro shoes.
This weekend saw the release of the highly-anticipated debut pro shoe for Tom Knox, the New Balance Numeric Tom Knox 600, and of course that means we've been treated to a lovely new Tom Knox part so we can see the shoe in action - and it's safe to say they look bangin'. Alongside the new part, the New Balance squad rounded up the troops and headed down to London for an action-packed demo at BaySixty6 which we'll hopefully get some footage from soon!
Initially intended as a follow-up to his incredible 'Untitled' video, Michael Nicholas' 'Sky's The Limit' has now been released in its unfinished form after footage was pilfered by clip-hungry sponsors. Featuring a load of bangin' footage from Joseph Campos, Patrick O'Mara and Lil Dre; it might be unfinished but it still packs a punch.
Join Rowan Zorilla on his travels alongside his fellow Vans heads in 'Blurry' to celebrate the launch of his new shoe, the Rowan 2, featuring a load of incredible new Rowan footy with appearances from Curren Caples, Digby Luxton, Diego Todd, Etienne Gagne, Nelly Morville and more of your favourite Vans legends.
It's been a minute since we've seen any footage of him but Grant Taylor is here to remind us that he's still the GOAT with his new part celebrating the (re)release of his iconic Nike Blazer Mid Pro GT shoe. Doesn't get much better than this.
Absolutely stacked new video from Kevin Perez, 'VITO' features clips from Paul Rodriguez, Christian Henry, JP Souza, Carlisle Aikens and countless others alongside a full Nikolai Piombo part that's packed with tech that's as obscene as his trousers.
Filmed between London and Istanbul, 'Baboşlar 3' is an incredible new video by Bill Wiall which follows George, Jack and Yusuf on their urban adventures alongside some bangin' guest clips from our mate Reid. Good shit!
Jan Maarten Sneep of Memory Screen fame has treated us to a brand new Brussels-based banger featuring a load of talented Dutch heads as they take their signature creativity to the streets of Belgium. Dutch people are just built different.
Catch a rare glimpse of two lesser-seen legends in Iggy NYC and Sneeze's 'Portrait of Kevin Rodrigues and Alex Olson' as they follow these two enigmatic skaters around their local stomping grounds. What a treat!
Very trendy new London edit from Billy Wells, 'explain your symptoms' features the likes of Cameron Lenton, Ryan Vien, Connor Parker, Pete Gronau and countless others hitting up a load of niche spots.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
