The Week Today, Now - 16/10/2023
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Tom Knox in Paris, Wade D for Thunder Trucks and a new VX banger from the Stene brothers.
Whole lotta goodness in Brandon Yeunger's 'Q is for Cow' edit - with parts from Amin Sharif, Max Wheeler, Nico Marti and even a little section from the WKND lads - but Chandler Burton's last part is the crowing jewel with all the powerful shapes, nollie back 180s and drag weirdness you could hope for.
Exceptionally gangsta new black-and-white video from the Pangea Jeans lads, opening up with a bangin' John Shanahan part with a cheeky Jason Dill tribute and backed up by Joseph Delgado, Brian Panebianco, Jahmir Brown, Will Marshall and the rest of the lads.
The 'Allé Video' is an extremely high-quality new VX video courtesy of Dan Stene - yeah, that's Hermann Stene's brother - complete with retro video-game title sequences (themed around Oslo's Radhuset spot) and a whole load of Scandi talent. Highly recommend!
Yet another bangin' new Leeds-based video courtesy of Joe Allen, 'Passing Places' features Farran Golding, Harry Meadley, Jono Coote, Izzy Almond and more of your Northern faves as they unearth a wealth of often-overlooked spots.
Charles DesChamps celebrates his newly-earned pro status for Studio Skateboards with help from his fellow Canadians in his powerful new 'EVA' part. Those bank tricks are absolutely silly.
Naquan Rollings is back with another star-studded Stateside edit, this time featuring Manny Lopez, Nikolai Piombo, Marcello Campanello, Carl Aikens and more backed up by a hard-hitting soundtrack.
More Scandi goodness this week: 'FETT' is an absolutely stacked new video from Stavanger's Session skate shop featuring all your favourites including Magnus Bordewick, Karsten Kleppan, Jonathan Drab, Bjarne Tjøtta and many more.
Aleksi Suovaara demonstrates his flawless technique in the latest episode of Place Mag's 'Eat Your Veggies' series with minimal arm movement and maximal style. It's like if Wade D was a nerd.
Etnies don't usually offer much to be excited about but their new video, 'NOW THEN', featuring Barney Page, Nassim Lacchab and Matisse Banc is worth overlooking the usual grom/BMXer vibes. Barney footage is always a treat!
Atlanta's Widdip crew have headed cross-country to sunny California to visit ex-pat Shane Farber resulting in a bangin' 20-minute edit featuring some extremely tasteful schoolyard lines from Shane.
Wade D is back with an impeccable new part for Thunder Trucks, offering up a masterclass in tech finesse with buttery mannies and ledge bangers. Like a fine wine.
Tom Knox has taken his quick-footed tekkers to the streets of Paris in his new part for Dickies and if that's got you excited for his new pro shoe, the upcoming New Balance Tom Knox 600 then check out our blog post to find out more!
Witness Sci-Fi Fantasy's resident technician, Arin Lester, flaunting her impeccable footwork in her powerful new part.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, check out more of the latest news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
