The Week Today, Now - 09/05/2022
Bringing you the latest and greatest skateboard news from the last week, including Memory Screen x Tony Turbo, Quartersnacks x Poetic Collective, and Yann Horowitz x Glitter Man.
Hermann Stene turns it up to 11 in his new part for Thunder Trucks. With lengthy back tails, mach 10 lines, and a load of hefty hammers, this one ticks all the boxes.
Memory Screen has treated us to a five-minute banger featuring off-cuts and alternate angles of DC Video era footy courtesy of Tony Turbo, featuring all your favourites including AVE, Dill, Brian Wenning, Josh Kalis, Stevie Williams, and more.
In anticipation of the first birthday of their One-Spot Part Map, Quartersnacks have treated us to a bangin' remix of Poetic Collective footage from their local stomping ground, Svampen.
New banger from South African gay skateboarding icon, Yann Horowitz, and his alter ego, Glitter Man, in the 'Baseline Bonhomie 04' part for Baseline Skate Shop. The video features plenty of bangin' trick selection, trippy Pyramid Country-esque editing, and hilarious little snippets that look like a more glamorous version of one of Alan Partridge's recurring nightmares. Highly recommend giving this one a watch.
Whole lotta lunacy in Jaakko Ojanen's part from El Rio Grind's new video, 'Mañana'. Even his bails are better than most people's makes.
Globe have put together an arty re-edit of all the 16mm clips from their recent video, 'Re-Est', featuring Austyn Gillette, Sammy Montano, and Aaron Kim.
The Vans UK squad and a ragtag bunch of homies headed down to Greg Nowik's vert ramp to test out Lizzie Armanto's new shoe last week resulting in a seriously heavy session. Dean's padless blunt flip was absolutely psycho.
You'd be forgiven if you'd forgotten the name Enzo Cautela, but after laying low for a couple of years the former Enjoi hucker is back with a heavy new part for Bones. Seems like he's calmed down a bit on the stairs though.

If you enjoyed Tim Zom's part last week, you can now catch 'KillahTapes Volume 2' online in full for more Dutch hammers from all the boys, including Nassim Guammaz and loads of other guys with even harder names to pronounce.
Tasteful trick selection and plenty of balancing-based bangers in Cam Fiorillo's 'Crooked Nose' part.
The latest instalment in Poppy Olsen's 'Dear Diary' series has just hit the interwebs and this one is stacked with legends including Nora Vasconcellos, Briana Delaney, Fabiana Delfino, and Trish McGowan.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the latest skate product and buy now from CSC. Or, check out more skateboard news, videos, and product reviews on the CSC Blog. Safe.
