A long overdue return to the famous CSC X Spit & Sawdust Winter Wonder Jam, at the newly fully re-vamped park no doubt!
In what feels like an eternity, the always excellent Spit & Sawdust Winter Wonder Jam is back, and what a return! The newly revamped park and ultra bright lights were definitely worth the wait. Apologies for slightly boring rundown, Dan had gone back home for the week when this was on, so you're stuck with me, and I only managed to catch the last two hours cos of a family meal.
Skaters from far n wide came down for the annual pilgrimage to shake of the Christmas hangovers, work off the turkey, get away from that one relative who's always been a bit too keen on Brexit.
This year saw the happy return (for the first time in four years) of Billy Trick, giving the park a good wounding with his much missed antics. Jimmy Silver with non-stop power lines, Conor Charleson smashing into stuff, Casey Mark-Brown mirror lines, PJ on a world destruction, Jack Steele uploading the tech, and someone sticking 50p into Oscar Evans. That's just naming a few, the others (who's names I wish I knew! Sorry! Pipe up in the comments please) were also on the tear.
Big up's to Christian, Marta, Kim, Luther and all at Spit & Sawdust for doing the utterly thankless task of running a skatepark, and doing it exceptionally well. Please continue to give your support so we can continue to make the magic fun happen there.
Anyhoo, that's enough of that. Head to the shop to browse the latest skateboard decks, clothing, shoes and more, and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest Cardiff skateboard events on the CSC Blog. Safe.
