Skate Dragons Club - Cardiff Skateboard Lessons
Channel that half-term stoke with the new Skate Dragons Club skateboard lessons, hosted at Spit and Sawdust skatepark by two serious local legends!
Looking to keep your kids entertained during the school holidays? Well, you're in luck as the new Skate Dragons Club skate school has got you covered with a series of sessions over the February half-term aimed at providing a welcoming atmosphere to help everyone make friends while skating together. Community has always been a massive part of skating and there's no better way to learn than from your peers so this is the perfect chance to meet some like-minded skaters that could end up being life-long homies.
Open to children aged 7 years and above, Skate Dragons Club will be running sessions at Spit and Sawdust Skatepark on Monday 12th February and Wednesday 14th February with a 9AM drop-off time, 4PM pick-up time and skating from 10AM-3PM. As the sessions are catered towards having a big skate session and making friends, a basic skate ability is required to take part, including being able to push around comfortably, ride up and down banks and drop into a small ramp - but you can check the videos below for reference if those words sound like gibberish to you.
Skate Dragons Club was founded by two of the finest sponsored skaters from the local area, Newport's Jake Collins and Bristol's Josh Arnott, who are both fully-qualified, DBS-checked coaches who are insured by Skateboard GB (as well as being absolute savages on the board) so there's no better place for your kids to come and take their skating to the next level while having fun at the same time.
To book your mini-shredder a spot in Skate Dragons Club, simply drop them an email at skatedragons24@gmail.com or send them a DM via their Instagram, @skatedragonsclub. But don't worry if you can't make it to Skate Dragons Club this time around, or your mini dragon would prefer something a little bit more personal, as they also offer 1-to-1 skateboard lessons.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, find out more useful information on the CSC Blog. Safe.
