Product Spotlight - Sabbath x Blokes Wheels

Did someone say collab of the year? Two of the UK's unruliest brands, Sabbath Wheels and Blokes, have teamed up for a range of new Double Hard wheels built to tackle the very worst that the mean streets have to throw at you.

In a world filled with terrible collabs, it's always refreshing when one comes out that just feels right. A perfect example of this is the new Sabbath Wheels x Blokes collab which merges two of the UK's most British brands for a truly legendary capsule celebrating one of the things this shitty little island does best: producing some proper 'ard bastards. This is also the perfect excuse for you to (re)watch 'Blokes'. Not that you need an excuse, it should be a legal requirement to watch it at least once a week. If I had it my way it'd be on the school curriculum.

Sabbath x Blokes Wheels

Naturally, for this absolutely solid collab the theme centres around notorious British hardmen with the graphics featuring two of Britain's hardest men: the UK's most infamous criminal, Charles Bronson; and legendary unlicensed boxer, Lenny McLean (who you may also recognise as Barry the Baptist from 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'). Both wheels come in a conical shape with pristine white colourway and a black printed graphic on one side, with the 53mm variant featuring The Guv'nor, Lenny McLean, and the 55mm version depicting Charles Bronson.

Thematically linked to the hard man graphics, the Sabbath x Blokes wheels feature Sabbath's new Double Hard Bastard formula with a rock solid durometer of 101a. These Hard Bastards are the ultimate skatepark wheel guaranteeing maximum speed and lengthy slides on smooth surfaces. Seeing as they're harder than a coffin nail these bad boys won't perform the best on rough ground but they can double up as a weapon if you chuck one in a sock and bash someone round the head with it.

Sabbath Blue Dragon Wheels

Alongside the Blokes collab wheels, we've also stocked up on some of the new Sabbath 'Blue Dragon' 54mm conical wheels which feature a bangin' traditional Japanese-inspired graphic with artwork by tattooer, Lewis Davies. Unlike the new Sabbath x Blokes wheels, the 'Blue Dragon' wheels are a bit on the softer side, using Sabbath's classic All-Terrain Urethane formula with a durometer of 99a, making them a great all-rounder for skateparks, transition or street. Because even Double Hard Bastards need to something a bit softer sometimes.

That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of Sabbath Wheels skateboard wheels and bearings and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skate product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
