Quasi have delivered the goods with yet another impeccable collection for Summer 2022 with loads of new skateboard decks to brighten up your session.
It's no secret that Quasi are some of the best in the game when it comes to art direction, and as always this latest collection is stacked with top-tier graphics. While their last collection was a step away from their usual style, Quasi have gone back to their routes for Spring 2022 with loads of graphics centred around vibrant colours and mixed-media imagery. Packing new pro models for all your favourite skaters - including Tyler Bledsoe, Dick Rizzo, Bobby Dekeyzer, and the GOAT, Jake Johnson - the only thing better than the graphics is the team. Plus, as always, all the decks come with a free poster and sticker for you to liven up your room with. What more could you want?
Possibly my favourite graphic from the collection, Dick Rizzo's 'Big Dick' deck is simple but effective. Featuring a white background with a round blue gradient in the centre, the main focus of the graphic is an illustration of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with 'DICK' written underneath it in a large, bold font. I can't if they're trying to make a statement about religion with this one (not sure how well that would go down in the States) but I guess it's open to interpretation. Either way, this one's a banger.
Quasi's newest pro, Dane Barker, has also received a bangin' new graphic that's a bit more goth-friendly than some of the more colourful offerings. The Dane Barker 'Think' deck features a black and white design with a cinderblock, a cartoon clown, and the slogan 'Stop Drop & Think'. If you look closely you'll also notice a smaller bit of text saying 'Dane Barker will pay cash for gear' for that signature bit of Quasi humour.
Another stand-out deck from the collection - this time a team model - is the 'Dino' deck. With a light blue background, the graphic features a line drawing of some kind of long-necked dinosaur (a brachiosaurus maybe?) with an ominous red flash hovering over it and the number 22 on the nose. It's pretty clear to see why this one's a banger: it's got a dinosaur on it. Who doesn't love dinosaurs?
Alongside all these bangers, Jake Johnson, Tyler Bledsoe, Josh Wilson, and Bobby Dekeyzer have all been treated to new pro skateboard decks with some textbook Quasi graphics. In true Quasi style, the decks feature bold colours and abstract shapes with the addition of some trippy photographs. With their unique mixed-media style of digital art, Quasi's graphics are easily some of the most distinctive in the game right now.
Last but not least, Quasi's Summer collection features the return of one of their most iconic graphics. The 'Visualize' deck makes its triumphant return as both an 8.25" popsicle deck with a white background and a 9" football shaped deck with an orange background, so they've got you covered whether you're hitting the streets or cruising to the shop. The graphic features a cheerful-looking cartoon dog in the centre surrounded by the words 'Visualize Happiness' in a bold, red bubble font.
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of Quasi skateboard decks and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
