Product Spotlight - Quasi Spring '22
Quasi are back with a bangin' new drop featuring plenty of amazing graphics for all your favourite pros, and if they aren't your favourite pros, they really should be.
First up, Quasi have brought back their iconic 'World' graphic by Will Gaynor, mixing it up this time by placing the graphic on the nose rather than in the centre of the deck. Pretty unconventional but I'm backing it. This graphic is a timeless banger that seems to only grow in relevance as we move further into dystopia, but even if the world's ending at least we get cool, cynical graphics like this. With two variants on offer, you can keep it simple and grab a classic popsicle shape with a sick pink woodstain. Or, go crazy with their 9" egg shaped deck featuring a black woodstain.
Equipped with one of the sickest names in skateboarding, Dick Rizzo has been blessed with an amazing Tom Penny tribute graphic, complete with saggy beanie and shit loads of weed. I mean, it's Dick Rizzo and Tom Penny under one roof, what could be better than that? The cartoon style stands out somewhat from Quasi's usual style of graphic, but it's always nice to do something different every now and then, right?
Justin Henry has one of the most interesting boards from the series this time with his 'Mirror' deck which boasts, you guessed it, a mirrored graphic. Keeping with the mirror theme, the deck features reflective silver foil, and they've even gone one step further by giving the deck a twin-tail construction. Perfect for all you switch aficionados out there. I mean, if Ishod skates twin tail then why don't you?
Another standout graphic from the collection, Gilbert Crockett's 'Cowboy' deck features a bangin' Western-themed graphic. With a lovely pastel style, the graphic involves a white background with various bits of surreal cowboy memorabilia: a creepy skull-less brain inside a cowboy hat, a pair of cowboy boots on fire, and a revolver twisted into a knot. Not sure if it's got any deeper meaning but it looks class and who doesn't love cowboys? BRB, gonna go replay Red Dead Redemption 2.
Last but not least, the best skateboarder ever has been blessed with a textbook Quasi graphic with their signature style of multi-media visuals. Featuring a pink background overlain with abstract shapes and brushstrokes, an image of some kind of helmeted motor vehicle operator, a hand, and an abstract image of a bicycle; the graphic takes quite a lot of deciphering but who doesn't love pretty shapes and colours? Plus, it's Jake Johnson. Who wouldn't want to skate one of his decks? They're literally guaranteed* to improve your skating a thousand times over. (*1000 times zero is still zero, sorry bud).
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to browse the full range of Quasi skateboard decks and buy now from CSC. Or, find out more about the latest skateboard product on the CSC Blog. Safe.
