Celebrating the imminent release of their latest video, 'Everything Is Normal', Polar have come through with an impeccable new collection featuring a variety of decks, clothing and more centred around the new video, all of which feature artwork by Sirus F Gahan. Filmed entirely in Japan between 2017-2024, 'Everything Is Normal' features full parts from Shin Sanbongi and new kid on the block, Kiki Kakitani, alongside appearances from the rest of the squad documenting their 'journey' over the seven year period.
However, despite the name, everything isn't exactly normal as Pontus Alv has handed over the video's reins to legendary UK photographer/filmmaker/creative genius, Sirus F Gahan, for his first stab at a major video for the brand. Sirus is well known for his powerful visuals - having released countless bangers over the years like his incredible 'picking up a bug' video as well as parts with Jamie Platt, Jarrad Carlin and more - and we can't wait to see how he merges his own unique style with Polar's distinctive identity!
Polar Everything Is Normal Decks
Kicking off the capsule with a selection of new decks, the Polar 'Everything Is Normal' Decks celebrate the new video in all its glory with a series of graphics featuring stills from the film. We all know Polar videos offer next-level visual stimulation and with Sirus behind the lens the aesthetics are about to be turned up to 11. The drop features three distinct variants of the Polar 'Everything Is Normal' deck in a variety of different sizes, with each deck featuring a different selection of images from the film, giving you a little teaser of what to expect.
Alternatively, the drop also features a new pro model for one of the video's main stars, Shin Sanbongi, with a slightly creepy graphic featuring the video's weird baby mascot. To compliment Shin's effortless style, the Polar 'Shin Sanbongi Babies' Deck comes in Polar's signature Surf Sr. shape - a beefed up version of the popular Surf Jr. shape - with a rounded nose and square tail to help you bring that surfstyle flow to the streets.
Polar Everything Is Normal T-shirts
Alongside the decks, the drop also features two tasteful new T-shirts paying tribute to the new video. Sharing the same creepy baby artwork as the Shin Sanbongi Babies deck, the Polar 'Everything Is Normal' T-shirt comes in a stylish Graphite colourway with a central black-and-white chest print of the video's bizarre infant mascot. For something with a bit more colour, we've also got the Polar 'Commitment' T-shirt which comes in an earthy Brown colourway with a large chest print showcasing everyone's commitment to the video via some pretty beat-up hands.

Last but not least, the drop also includes the new Polar 'Everything Is Normal' Book - Polar's first ever book! - which takes you even deeper into the action with 128 pages of top-quality photography from over the seven year period in which the video was filmed. The Everything Is Normal photobook showcases photography from Marimo Ohyama, Sirus F Gahan, Kohei Hayashi, Nobuo Iseki and Pontus Alv, with a mixture of skate photos and lifestyle hammers, all shot entirely in Japan where the video was filmed. Not sure how Polar haven't released a photobook until now but they've come out swingin' with this one; it's an absolute must-have for any fans of the brand or photography enthusiasts!
