Product Spotlight - Palace Skateboard Decks Spring '22

London's gulliest skate brand are back with a new collection of decks for the Spring of 2022, with a fresh crop of pro decks for the whole squad alongside some bangin' team graphics.

The latest series of Palace pro skateboard decks features a sick collage graphic, with a load of random photos seemingly laid out on a wooden table. The pictures portray a variety of images including various animals like rhinos, monkeys, and an axolotl, as well as various indigenous peoples from around the world and other aesthetically pleasing snaps. With pro decks in a variety of sizes for Palace's entire lineup of legends - including Lucas Puig, Heitor Da Silva, Danny Brady, Lucien Clarke, Jamal Smith, and new pros Charlie Birch and Kyle Wilson - you can support your favourite pros in style with this incredible new series.

Alongside the pro collection, the Palace muckas have come through with some all-new team models with a variety of graphics. The 'Good Year' graphic is the perfect deck for starting off the year on a positive note with the deck featuring a glass of wine to toast the new year and an optimistic slogan stating that it's going to be 'A Very Good Year'. Call me a pessimist but I reckon Palace are tempting fate with this one, but it seems pretty unlikely that 2022 will be as terrible as the last few years so I guess we'll have to wait and see what misfortune befalls us.

Another sick new graphic from the collection, the 'K9' deck features a large 'Palace' logo in the background overlaid with a sick drawing of a Dobermann, because everyone knows that Dobermanns are proper 'ard. With two different colourways and sizes on offer - an 8" black on white variant, and an 8.1" white on black - there's guaranteed to be something for everyone (as long as you like decks around the 8" mark).

Alongside the 'Good Year' and 'K9' decks, the last team graphic from Palace's Spring collection is the 'Pallergies' deck, because let's be real, it wouldn't be a Palace drop without at least one weed-themed deck. The graphic features some suspiciously red eyes, which you'd probably assume was down to allergies if it wasn't for the fact there's also a drawing of some hands holding an absolute warhead of a spliff. The 'Pallergies' deck again comes in two alternate colour variants - one white, and one black - with more varied size options than the 'K9' deck in the form of a 7.75" for the old school heads and an 8.6" for the big boys.
