I've been a fan of the brand since they started so it is with great pleasure to announce that CSC now stocks one of New York's finest skate brands: Hotel Blue. Those who know their history will know that Hotel Blue was initially born out of the legendary LurkNYC video series, with the series' creator, Nick VonWerssowetz, starting the brand as the natural next step following the series' increasing popularity. If you've never heard of LurkNYC we'd highly recommend checking out their videos for plenty of gritty, raw VX street skating with early footage from East Coast greats like John Shanahan, Jahmir Brown, Charles Deschamps and many, many more.

Seeing as the brand boasts a rich history of quality videos, it should come as no surprise that Hotel Blue has released its own fair share of bangers featuring many talented heads scouted by the keen eye of Nick VonWerssowetz, including Juan Virues and Charles Deschamps, alongside some equally niche music selection. Safe to say that Hotel Blue’s videos live up to the legacy of their legendary predecessor.

Hotel Blue Pulp Fiction Decks

Hotel Blue’s latest run of skateboard decks is no ordinary collection as the graphics pay tribute to one of the most iconic films of all time: Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic, ‘Pulp Fiction’. These Pulp Fiction skateboard decks depict several of the film’s most striking shots, with the ‘Trunk’ deck featuring the iconic low-angle trunk shot of Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta’s characters taking their guns out of the boot of their car, and the ‘Wallace’ deck featuring the film’s main antagonist, Marsellus Wallace, talking on the phone - it even has the added benefit of being a Juan Virues pro model! The film may not be as on trend as it was a few years ago but ‘Pulp Fiction’ will always be a straight-up classic so we’re obviously big fans of these decks. Either one would make a perfect wall-hanger!

Alongside the new 'Pulp Fiction' decks, the drop also features some tasteful new caps and T-shirts, including their classic Hotel Blue 'Logo' Snapback with its tasteful, high fashion-inspired graphic that's sure to set you apart as a consumer of only the most enlightened street skateboarding - if you see someone wearing this, you know they know what's up. Much like 'Pulp Fiction', this number's a certified classic with its sophisticated embroidered artwork that's sure to appeal to any fans of minimalist design.

Alternatively, if you're looking for something a bit more eye-catching then the '10 Cent' T-shirt and cap pack a bit more colour to help you stand out from the crowd. Paying homage to the bold aesthetics of vintage American advertising, the '10 Cent' graphic draws the eye with bright yellow and red hues that wouldn't look out of place on the side of an NYC hotdog cart, which is obviously a good thing. The colours also tie-in nicely with the 'Pulp Fiction' theme as an added bonus.
