Following on from his second Skater of the Year win, New Balance OG and all-time legend, Jamie Foy, has branched out from his usual 306 pro shoe to put his own twist on everyone's favourite New Balance Numeric shoe: the NM480. Coming through with a limited edition colourway taking inspiration from one of the earliest models of his own pro shoe, the New Balance Numeric 480 Jamie Foy offers up yet another fresh reimagining of what is fast becoming New Balance's most iconic silhouette. By this point, Jamie Foy is a man who should need no introduction, however if you're new to skating or been living under a rock for the past 10 years, we'll do our best to sum up his greatest hits. Known for his large stature (although he's not quite the Big Boy he used to be) and love of even larger rails, Big Boy Foy has been a household name since absolutely carrying the Deathwish team in 'King of the Road' 2016. Rapidly rising from Am to Pro status thanks to his absolutely mind-blowing rail-chomping capabilities, he hasn't taken his foot off the gas since, winning Skater of the Year twice and dropping more than his fair share of next-level video parts. Basically, he's pretty good.

With two SOTY wins under his belt, clearly the man deserves more than just one pro shoe and we couldn't be more hyped that New Balance have given him the reins for his own 480 colourway. Paying homage to his New Balance signature model, the Jamie Foy 306, the new Jamie Foy 480 comes in a bangin' Forest Green colourway with a green and black upper, white sole and red and white 'N' logo for a bangin' Gucci-inspired aesthetic that you may recognise from the 306. For some extra flavour, the shoe also features a custom 'Jamie Foy 480' insole graphic alongside a witty 'FOY 80' tongue label to celebrate the occasion.

Of course it's not all about the looks though as the New Balance Numeric 480 Jamie Foy features the same signature 480 construction that we all know and love, offering up top-quality performance to match the aesthetic. Featuring a sturdy cupsole construction backed up by a full-length FuelCell midsole for ultimate comfort and impact protection, we've always thought Foy's skating was more suited to a cupsole than a vulc and the new Jamie Foy 480 can easily handle the biggest gaps and rails he can throw himself at. Likewise, the shoe's NDurance rubber outsole, multi-panelled suede and leather upper and reinforced suede toe panel guarantees long-lasting durability and flick to help you keep flipping in and out of grinds all day long.
