Going To Eden | Video Daze
Another top quality video offering out of South Wales this week, join Rowan Hill and the boys as they take us on a tour of the finest spots around Porthcawl and Bridgend in 'Going To Eden'.
It's been a good year for the South Wales skate scene so far with Episode LTD's 'Pilot' capturing what's been going down in Cardiff and Rhys Evans' 'Ride Me En' covering the Swansea side of things. Now, we've also been treated to the bangin' new 'Going To Eden' edit which fills in some of the gaps in-between with five minutes of straight hammers around Porthcawl and Bridgend.
Filmed by Rowan Hill, Sebastian Hill and Tal Jones, who also put it down in front of the lens alongside Ashton Narbeth-Phillips and Ben Kiernan, the boys do a good job of making Bridgend seem like Barcelona as they hit a load of OG spots, like the iconic double set and that weird metal sculpture thing, as well as some newer seaside offerings which definitely look worth a visit.
While Osian channeled the old-school vibes in 'Pilot', 'Going To Eden' definitely has a more contemporary feel to it, and not only because the B-roll includes watching reels while sucking on a disposable vape: there's definitely a slight hint of Strobeck influence with all the long lens footy. Soundtrack's quality too, mind. Solid offering all round!
That's enough chit-chat though. Head to the shop to buy the latest clothing and skateboard decks from CSC. Or, watch more of the best skate videos on the CSC Blog. Safe.
