Product Spotlight - Tom Knox New Balance 440

New Balance Numeric have come through with a short-but-sweet footwear capsule with team rider and legendary Atlantic Drifter, Tom Knox, featuring new takes on everyone's favourite shoe, the 440. 

After the popularity of Tom's first two signature colourways, New Balance have decided to mix things up with an extra special reissue of the two models. Instead of opting for a brand new colourway, Tom has switched up his two previous colourways, swapping the low-top with the high-top, and vice versa. Now, the black and orange former high-top model is available as a sleek low-top silhouette, and the previous low-top in white, red, and aqua is now available as a high-top for that much-needed ankle support. So if you missed out on their first iterations because you don't like high-tops, or vice versa, then you're in luck.

The 440 is one of New Balance's most popular shoes due to the cupsole construction offering long-lasting comfort and support, alongside the C-Cap heel wedge and midsole helping to provide added impact support and comfort while still providing premium boardfeel. The 440 is by far one of our best-selling shoes, and it's the shoe of choice for several of our shop dragons and staff members - including PJ, Ben Rouse, and The Gaffa himself - obviously Tom Knox seems to rate 'em too, so you know they must be good. Both of these shoes feature a leather upper, as well as a reinforced leather toe-box, for some serious durability and that sought-after S&M look.
