Say ‘I’ve got massive bollocks’ in the comments below if you’d be prepared to help build Bastardside into a mighty concrete paradise.
If we build it ourselves, we won’t have to send the cream of young Welsh skateboard talent to the home of perms and car theft in order to film banging mini edits like this:
James Davies – Live and unsigned

But these days James Davies is also a syrup voiced crooner and he will be singing beautiful melodies in The Coal Exchange on Sunday because he’s in the Live and Unsigned regional finals.
He had a shot at it last year, but the judges said:
James Davies – Good cover and good vocal tone, but really needs to work on an image! Vocal occasionally wavered in places, so could build strength slightly, but overall very good
CSC called Simon Cowell to ask him for any advice he had for James:
“James, you’ve got real potential and if you work really hard you could be the next Matt Cardle. However, by ignoring your image, you’re ignoring the audience who put you there. So it has got to change.
I spoke to Sinitta and we both agree that you need to pull your trousers up to your neck, slip on a black turtle neck, and give yourself a nailbrush buzz-cut. Either that or wear a CSC tee.”
Did you hear that James? CSC tee = Win.

Cardifferent/Crayon skateboards collaboration coming up…

Weirdly I had the idea of doing a ‘Cardiffornia’ CSC tee-shirt but instead of the Hollister style vibe I was thinking raw 80s neon and palm trees…guess that idea’s dead in the water now. New CSC tees coming soon though…watch this space!

Welshcakes do Cardiff Plaza
